Perfecting the Body of Christ

“For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:12-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What a privilege to be the Body of Christ & be perfected for the work of the ministry of winning souls through the proclaiming of the Gospel.  Each one in the Body of Christ is a member of His Body...some are the beautiful feet bringing good tidings, some the hands that handle the Word of Life, some are the knees that intercede & bow our knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ & some are the unseen parts of the Body which perform essential tasks.
This is God’s way and let’s cooperate so we come to the full measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ! To God be the glory!

Covenant Relationship

“For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭54:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Our God’s kindness & His covenant of peace can never be removed from us, who love Him. It’s because Jesus loved us first even when we were dead in our sins. God has always kept His covenant & desired a covenant relationship with us. In this blood of the everlasting covenant that He has made with us, it is God Who makes us perfect in every good work to do His will, working in us that which is well pleasing in His eyes. We only have to believe in Him.
Let’s walk in a covenant relationship with Him, giving glory to Him forever and ever!

Many Called, Few Chosen

“For many are called, but few are chosen.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭22:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

So many were invited to the wedding celebration, but they excused themselves. So they picked from the highways & byways people who came excitedly with the wedding garments, except one. That one was removed forcibly & thrown into outer darkness.
We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a peculiar people, a holy nation!  Are we celebrating the arrival of the soon & coming Bridegroom with anticipation and excitement with the robes of righteousness? If we can celebrate the Lord Jesus at all times calling ourselves the righteous in Christ, surely we are the called, the chosen & the faithful.
Let’s rejoice for Christ is in us, the hope of glory!

Our Inheritance

“I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭2:7-8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God the Father has said of His Son that He will give Christ the heathen for His inheritance & the uttermost parts of the earth.  Jesus accomplished this through the Cross of Calvary by His own Blood sacrifice.
As joint heirs with Christ this is our inheritance.  We are called to pray for the salvation of the heathen, our fellow countrymen, our leaders ruling over us and even all the nations, to the uttermost parts of the earth.
Even as we pray, let’s believe that we have received our inheritance in Christ.  Let’s not be slack or faint or weary in praying & decreeing this.  Let’s not focus on sickness, plagues & calamities, but on the inheritance Christ won for us....our inheritance and rewards are forever!

Unity of the Faith

“Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭KJV

Unity of the faith isn’t denominationalism...it is brought about by the Holy Spirit when we hunger for the knowledge of the Son of God & magnify what He has done personally on the Cross us.  It seems paradoxical - to meditate on an individual level, yet come into unity of the faith at the corporate level.  Our human mind cannot comprehend this mystery but our obedience brings us to being perfect to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.
Such a wonder! Because Jesus is Wonderful & willing to make us perfect & to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ!  Thank You Father for Your amazing & wonderful plan for me!

Good Fight of Faith

“But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭6:11-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s time to be in the world but not of it! Jesus said that because the Word is in us the world hates us & Jesus overcame the world. So we overcome the world, this is our victory, even our faith.
So we fight the good fight of faith & all the blessings of heaven are ours because we lay hold of it forcefully and with faith become a blessing to others...God uses us to bless others because we know how to be victorious with the faith He has given us!

True Humility

“Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:23‬ ‭KJV

The outcome of saying we love Jesus is obeying His Word....that is true humility. Jesus came to fulfill all that was written about Him & today we are to do all that Jesus has said.  Many say they love Jesus but do what they think is right....this does not hold with the Righteous Judge, with whom we all, every person, has to stand before & be judged.
Let’s bring ourselves in alignment with the Word of God especially by blessing those who curse and despitefully use us...to bless, and not to react like them & curse back...by blessing them, we love our enemies and obey Jesus to say that we love Him. That is humility...to hear His Word and just do it!

Humbling Ourselves

“And when he humbled himself, the wrath of the Lord turned from him, that he would not destroy him altogether: and also in Judah things went well.”
‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭12:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This was Rehoboam, king of Judah who had been prideful with his subjects. Now he humbled himself and the wrath of God turned from him.
Jesus humbled Himself to take the wrath of God on Himself on our behalf.
We are to humble ourselves to receive anything from God.  It’s not God Who humbles us, it’s we who humble ourselves.

Simple Faith

“And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Simple faith....the disciples of Jesus saw the lame man & boldly spoke soundness to him and the lame man walked. They had seen the lame man regularly, passed him by many times. This time it was different....they had faith in the resurrection power of the Lord Jesus.  The indifference turned into compassion and through faith in His Name, the lame man walked & leaped and praised God.

Let’s have faith in the resurrection power of Jesus...today, all over the world people need to see it & believe.

Praising the Beauty of His Holiness

“And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever.  “And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.”
‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭20:21-22‬ ‭KJV‬‬

How easy it was in the Old Covenant for the battle to be won!  Just by praising the beauty of holiness of the Lord! Today the battle was already won and all we are to do is worship the beauty of holiness in the Cross of Jesus Christ....oh, what a beauty of holiness in the exchange that was made for me at the Cross!  For the world system, there was no beauty that we should desire Him, He was so despised and rejected. But for us, His elect & chosen to be in the Kingdom of God, we can’t stop thanking & praising Him for the beauty of holiness He placed in us through the Cross.  Thank You, Jesus, thank You Jesus...a continuous thanksgiving to You, Lord Jesus.

Not Meat & Drink

“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭14:17-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

These days our mind is focused on food & how to feed ourselves with the limitations of lockdown.  We’re distracted from serving Christ with righteousness, peace & joy in the Holy Ghost as kingdom people, to serving ourselves with grievances, complaints, impatience & frustrations! Difficult though it may seem but God’s grace extended to us is more than enough to flow from us to others.  Let’s use our tongue to bless, honour & thank others, letting righteousness, peace & joy in the Holy Ghost abound in us....this glorifies our Father in heaven.

Elected for Obedience

“Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Even though Jesus is the Son, yet learned He obedience through His suffering.  Because of that, we have been elected for obedience and the sprinkling of His Blood by the foreknowledge of God.  So we ask, is it obedience to our feelings of right and wrong, or is it obedience to God’s Word through the sanctification of the Holy Spirit?  Our feelings must align to the Word of God, that’s the only way.

Deliverance from this Present Evil World

“Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭1:3-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What a joy to have this promise from the Lord that He will deliver us from this present evil world and this is according to His will.  The heart of man is deceitful and desperately wicked. Yet for those who have given our hearts to Jesus and trust Him, shall never be ashamed but our faces will be radiant! To God be all the glory!

Heavenly Places in Christ

“If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:12‬ KJV

Thank God that Jesus has raised us together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus!
Let’s be after the Spirit to mind the things of the Spirit.  Let’s not mind the circumstances around us but wholly look at Jesus the Author & Finisher of our faith.

Rock of Refuge

“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:24-25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Hearing the sayings of the Lord Jesus and doing them, enables us to stand firm against every storm.  Hearing the Word, being rooted, and doing the Word, being grounded, is the best way of life!  In uncertain times, may your house built upon the Rock, be a place of refuge and strength!

Justified by Christ’s Faith

“Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭2:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s so simple, even a child can understand it....that we are made right by the faith of Christ and not by the works of law.

When a child does something wrong, he or she is able to tell the parent of the wrong thing simply by the confidence that the parent loves the child.  Or even when the child doesn’t tell the parent and when the parent finds out and corrects the child, the relationship doesn’t end because the confidence of love is the foundation.

God has placed Jesus’s faith inside us by His Holy Spirit, to trust Him when He makes us right with Him.

Let’s release Christ’s faith in and through us every time! That’s the confidence of His love to us.

Hid with Christ in God

“For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:3-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It is so exciting that we are hid with Christ in God. God knows all the plans against Him for the kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, but He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

God knows to protect the righteous who cast all our cares on Him as He sustains us and will not put us to shame for we trust in Him.

Only because we are hid with Christ in God!  Hallelujah!

Affirmation of Love

“So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.”
‭‭John‬ ‭21:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Lord Jesus loves mealtimes and to feed us! Through this lockdown, we’re having mealtimes with family as never before! It is a measure of His overflowing love that He feeds us! The last time Jesus fed Simon Peter was at the time of the last supper, when He gave the new covenant.  And now Jesus feeds Simon and asks him if he loves Jesus and when Peter affirms, Jesus asks him to feed His lambs.

As we affirm to Jesus that we love Him, we go and feed others with the Bread of Life.  We bring the Glorious Gospel to others.  Let this be our affirmation of love to Jesus.

Swallowed Death in Victory

“He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭25:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When the Lord hath spoken it, that surely comes to pass. And today having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

Our LORD Jesus Christ is a Magnificent GOD!  All glory to Him!  Worthy is the Lamb that was slain!

Fulfilled Prophecy

“Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high. As many were astonished at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭52:13-14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What has been prophesied will come to pass....the best paintings or movies will not be able to capture how Jesus humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, Wherefore God also has highly exalted Him, and given him a Name which is above every name: That at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth...Amen

Everything Contrary to us is Nailed to the Cross

Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus has nailed everything that was contrary to us, to His Cross. No one is born without sin, all are, except Jesus. Yet He has blotted out my sins, transgressions, iniquities, curses, sickness, disease, every health issues, lack.....everything contrary to me...and you.....to His Cross. The devil and his demons cannot touch me in any area, because of the Cross....and neither you!

Let’s not accept anything from the devil. Let’s accept everything that Jesus has accomplished for us at the Cross.

Let’s walk in victory!

The Great High Priest

“Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus, the Great High Priest of our Intercession, offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears. We are the result of His prayers and supplications. Today we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered, He makes intercession for us according to the will of God.
Let’s pray in the Spirit to intercede for others according to the will of God.

Watch & Pray

“Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭26:41‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Lord Jesus, in His intense agony, still was able to tell us to watch & pray. Even though we desire to pray, yet many times other matters take priority. How kind is our Lord that He understands our weakness. Yet the command is there to watch and pray. May we discipline ourselves to surrender to the Holy Spirit to mortify the deeds of the flesh. To watch and pray is necessary in our walk with our Lord Jesus.

Blood that makes Atonement

“For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.”
‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭17:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

As we meditate on the Cross, Jesus had to come in the flesh simply because His Blood would make atonement of the soul of mankind, when He died.  The priest in Leviticus had to put some of the blood on the horns of the altar and pour out the rest at the bottom of the altar. For us the altar is the Cross where Jesus shed His Blood and the rest was poured down to the bottom of the Cross for all mankind. Let’s make Jesus’s Blood an atonement for our souls even now and apply it in our mind, will and emotions, even our body, for it has the power to make the dead come alive.  Thank You Jesus for Your Blood You shed for me.

The Blood of His Cross

“And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1:18-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What a wonderful time of worship we had as we gave pre-eminence to the Lord Jesus Christ Who is the Head of the Body the Church. It has pleased Him to reconcile us to Him and making peace through the Blood of His Cross.  We worship Him out of our free will and not out of fear and being told what or what not to do! We thank Him for the peace it cost Him to make with us...His Own Blood....thank You Lord Jesus.

Righteous Are Victorious

“After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭7:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree says the psalmist...and that’s the picture of the righteous worshipping the Lamb of God in heaven whilst tribulations are happening on earth.  May we worship the Lamb today and all eternity bringing heaven down to earth...Hosanna to the Lamb of God! 🌴

Faith which gives Victory

“But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭4:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What a privilege God has given us to build up our most holy faith and be edified!  This is the time to have faith in the victory of the Cross and know that we are righteous before God.  How important it is to pray at this time, having full confidence that we are heard and our prayers answered because we ask according to Jesus’s will. Let’s pray to defeat all the forces of darkness over our nation particularly & manifest the victory of Jesus Christ our LORD.

Church not a Building

“To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:4-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Lord Jesus has been gracious to us..He, being the Precious & Chosen One of God, has chosen us to be the Church, not a building, but we the lively stones, a spiritual house, offering up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God.  How precious to join, even technologically, to thank, praise & worship Him Who is Worthy of all praise!

Christ is our Wisdom & Power

“He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭111:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Thank You Father for sending redemption to us for we are the redeemed of the Lord and we love to say so!  Thank You Jesus that the new covenant with You is forever and we partake of Your Body & Blood often!  Thank You Holy Spirit for building us up in reverence and fear of the Lord as Christ is the wisdom and power of God in us. We praise You Jesus, now & forever!  Amen 🙏

Sealed with the Spirit of Power

“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The kingdom of God is not in word but in power....those of us who are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise for it’s not by might nor by power but by my Spirit says the Lord.  Let’s know to yield to the Holy Spirit and be led by Him. Surely Jesus’s kingdom comes through us, His Body the Church.
