Face to Face

“As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭17:15‬ ‭KJV
Only in righteousness can we behold Jesus face to face.
God’s
Righteousness
At
Christ’s
Expense.
That’s what Jesus did for us at the Cross, at no cost to us and entirely by His grace.  That’s why the Blood of Jesus Christ is vital for our being righteous with His righteousness and be in His image and likeness.  Let’s show Jesus to this dark world as we shine with His light...let our light so shine before men that they may see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven.

True Humility

“And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬
True humility comes when we understand the magnitude of what the Lord Jesus did on the Cross by forgiving our sins and wrought righteousness in us so we are restored into the image & likeness of God Himself.  As we put on the new man which is created in righteousness and true holiness, we walk in the newness of life by being buried into Christ’s death and raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father.  Now we call ourselves righteous not in self righteousness but in Christ’s righteousness.  If we’ve been forgiven much we will love much and have no problem in calling ourselves righteous with the righteousness of the Lord Jesus.  But if we have been forgiven little we will love little and walk in self righteousness.  True humility is when we call ourselves righteous in Christ.  For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Riches, Honour & Life

“By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭22:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Jesus Who is God, humbled Himself to come in the flesh.  Though He was the Son yet He learned obedience through suffering.  Jesus, Who owns all the riches of this planet and this universe, of the heavenly realms; Jesus, to Whom belongs all honour and at Whose Name every knee bows; Jesus, Who through His death, gave Life to all....if He humbled Himself and lived in the fear of the Lord, and He lives in us and has made us joint heirs with Him, who believe Him and love Him, why can’t we understand that the start of our relationship with Him is humility and reverence of El Shaddai.  Though He is the Son yet He learned obedience, and though we are His own, we too learn obedience, humility and the fear of the Lord because He freely gives us riches, honour and life!  Glory to God!

Complete in Christ

“For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬
In Christ’s Body dwells the fulness of Who God is.  The Body of Christ which is the Church, has the fulness of the Godhead, and we are complete in Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Head of His Body and all principalities and powers are subject to Him.  Let’s believe in the Word of God and know that Christ is triumphant in the Church and reveals Himself through His Body as the victorious & resurrected One. Even the gates of hell cannot prevail against His Church. Let’s release the power of the risen Christ in everything we do.  Let the world know that Christ is alive in the Church.  Glory to You, Lord Jesus!

God of Hope

“I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.”
‭‭Hosea‬ ‭13:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Hosea is prophesying to unfaithful Israel and saying that Messiah God will ransom them from the power of the grave and from death and He will never repent or change His mind on this promise.  Because of the new covenant Jesus made with all mankind, this promise is applicable to all of us who believe.  However unfaithful we have been, God’s covenant stands firm and will never change.  Moses was a murderer, so had Paul caused Jesus’s disciples to die, Peter had denied that Jesus is the Messiah even when he knew the truth, Abraham had lied, as had Isaac, and Jacob cheated!  God was faithful to all of them.  God accepts every person who is willing to accept Jesus’s sacrifice and takes the responsibility to transform contrite hearts.  Let’s know the power of repentance towards God in our life, trusting the finished work of the Cross and the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Now the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace in believing, that we may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Worthy is the Lamb

“But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:20-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬
It takes for man to die, for man to have resurrection from the dead....it is impossible for God to die and come alive again.  That’s why Jesus had to come as Man to die and be resurrected.  God had to come in flesh and blood to die and rise again by identifying with mankind completely.  The prince of this world had nothing to accuse Jesus of.  So when Jesus gave Himself as a Blood Sacrifice on behalf of mankind,  He through the Eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God,  sanctifying to the purifying of all flesh, all mankind.  By believing in this awesome truth, we are now restored into the image and likeness of God.  Let’s bow before our Lord God Almighty, Jesus, the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world. Worthy is the Lamb.

Covenant with the Redeemed

“Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭31:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬
David committed his spirit into Elohim Yahweh’s Hands, because he was sure of the covenant the Lord God had with him.  The Lord Jesus when He finished defeating the devil at the Cross, committed Himself into God’s Hands, signing the everlasting covenant He made with the redeemed, by His Blood.  Let us, the redeemed, be sure of this new covenant that the Lord Jesus made with us, as we commit ourselves into His Hands for every situation in our lives.  Let the redeemed of the Lord say so with our mouths! Let’s shout out our experience of being redeemed as we commit ourselves into the Lord’s Hands to fulfill His calling upon our lives!

Reconciled Forever

“For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬
When we were enemies, Jesus treated us with kindness, choosing to die for us and reconciling us to God.  Because He rose from the dead and is alive, His life is available to us all the days of our earthly life.  His Life is in the Blood that He shed for us.  We are continuously being saved by His Life and no power of the enemy can break this reconciliation.  With God it is always much more than we can imagine...let’s trust His Power and lead a victorious life pulsating with His Resurrection Life, giving testimonies after testimonies of His kindness to us.  As God dealt with us with kindness when we were His enemies, let’s deal with kindness and pray for those who hate us and despitefully use us.  Let’s vanquish every dart of hate the enemy throws at us by praying with Resurrection Life in us and showing the defeat of the enemy!  Let’s walk in victory every time!

Living Waters

“Then Israel sang this song, Spring up, O well; sing ye unto it:”
‭‭Numbers‬ ‭21:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬
In the wilderness, with a multitude of freed slaves, El Shaddai asked Moses to sing to the well to give water.  They sang....the well gave water in abundance for all to drink and they were satisfied.  Jesus told the outcast Samaritan woman at the well that He had living water and whoever drinks of the water that He gives shall never thirst; and it shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.  We, who have been freed from slavery of sin, we too sing thanksgiving to our situations.  Now that the Holy Spirit has been given to us, when we sing with thanksgiving in any situation, however impossible it may seem, living water springs out of us and the Holy Spirit pours grace to make straight every crooked path.  Let’s sing our praises to Him and release living water in this dry and thirsty world.  Thank You Jesus!

Happy Father’s Day

“Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6:2-3‬ ‭KJV‬‬
The first mention of ‘father’ in the Bible is when God created mankind and spoke to Adam about marriage.  God instituted the family structure...it is not a sociological evolution.  In fact when Moses was given the law, this was the only commandment with a promise, apostle Paul said.  Jesus honoured His Father in everything He did especially at the Cross and gave priority to His relationship with His Father.  That’s how important this relationship is.  Every opportunity we get to honour our father and mother, let’s take it!  Even those fathers that neglected their responsibilities, let’s forgive them and ask God to heal those wounds.  Where there were fatherless, let’s reach out to them to show our heavenly Father’s love.  Happy Father’s Day!

Mercy & Truth

“Mercy and truth preserve the king: and his throne is upholden by mercy.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭20:28‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Jesus is the King of kings and He has given us, the Church, the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness to reign in life!  Jesus’ throne is the throne of grace where we obtain mercy.  So as kings reigning in this life, we release Christ’s mercy of forgiveness of sins and we release the truth of the finished work of the Cross to all the people of this planet.  That is how we, the Church, preserve King Jesus’s throne in our hearts with mercy and truth.  Whether it is the pandemic or territorial aggrandisement, the Church’s prayers release mercy and truth in these situations!  Whether it is reconciling of relationships or financial lack because of sudden job loss, or depression or deception of any kind, let’s release mercy and truth.  Let’s reign in this life by releasing mercy and truth in every situation!

Indescribable Gift

“Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬
The gift of God, Jesus Christ, is an indescribable blessing to mankind!  We get distracted by other blessings and seek God for them and He continuously blesses us, there is no stopping God for blessings.  By character our Father is a Blesser...it is His nature to bless.  But when we give Christ our indescribable gift the preeminence, the prime blessing, all other gifts find their place.  Jesus first and then all the others.  Our hearts need to understand what is indescribable about the finished work of the Cross.  Because of that we have received every good gift and every perfect gift from above, and it comes down from the Father of lights, with Whom there is no variableness, neither shadow of turning!  Let’s give Jesus the first place always and in everything!

The Voice of the Lord

The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭29:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬
The psalmist David has experienced the voice of the Lord.  It is powerful and full of majesty.  When God spoke & creation came into being, His voice had power and majesty.  When Jesus spoke on earth His voice had power and majesty that people flocked to hear Him. When Jesus spoke on the Cross, “It is finished “, His voice had power and majesty and the whole earth shook, the sky was darkened!  When the Holy Spirit came with tongues of fire, the Church spoke in the voice of the Lord, full of power and majesty.  God’s voice speaks through the Church today, Christ’s Body, with power and full of majesty! Let’s be the Church that speaks with the voice of the Lord today! Powerfully and full of majesty...Amen!

Abundant Mercy

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬
God’s abundant mercy is so huge every time that our minds cannot comprehend it.  We are simply programmed to receive it in our hearts.  It’s new every morning.  We understand it only through our born again experience when we receive forgiveness of sins and are made alive in our spirit, never to die.  Such people come into the lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead - a confident and continuous expectation of God’s goodness - who can call the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, blessed, which means consecrated and holy.  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ Who continuously showers us with abundant mercy.  We cannot stop thanking You.  Thank You Father!

Christ’s Manifesto

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭4:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Jesus at the start gave His manifesto and then implemented it.  The anointing on Him made Him the good news to preach the Gospel to the poor; to heal the broken-hearted; to preach deliverance to the captives; to recover the sight of the blind; to set at liberty them that are bruised.  This same anointing is on us, the Church.  Are we bearers of good news; do we bring healing to the broken hearted, deliverance to the captives, sight to the blind, liberty and freedom to those in bondage?  Jesus has given us the power of His Name, the power of His Word, the power of His Blood and the victory of the Cross, the power of His Holy Spirit....Jesus has given the Church, us His disciples, everything we need to fulfill His manifesto in this dying and perishing world.  Let’s fulfill His manifesto...the world needs it, there are suicides, depression, hopelessness, despair, sickness, disease, lack, poverty, shame, everywhere we look around. Let’s be the Church Jesus wants us to be.  Let’s be good news to everyone we meet, foe or friend!

Crown of God’s Glory

“For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭14:13-14‬ ‭KJV‬‬
When the seventy returned & told Jesus that the devils were subject to the Name of Jesus, He told them He beheld Satan fall like lightening from heaven.  When Lucifer dared God that he would even be like the Most High, he was cast down to earth and from the dust of the earth, God made the crown of His glory - Adam.  That’s why Satan hates mankind.  The Most High came in the flesh as the last Adam and identified with mankind.  God takes the despised, weak, foolish and base things to confound the crafty and the mighty.  Now it is with the preaching of the Gospel that opens people’s eyes and turns them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith.  In fact joint heirs with Christ!  Let’s preach Christ crucified so that people see the victory of the Cross and become the crown of glory unto the Most High!

Grace Justifies Freely

“Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:24-25‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Of the fulness of the Lord Jesus we have all received, and grace for grace.  Those who are humble to receive this marvellous grace, are justified freely, at no cost, without having done anything more than believe and receive - that also because of His grace.  It’s only then our hearts are opened to the redemption we have in Christ Jesus and the propitiation through faith in His Blood.  As we make the propitiation personal, we are able to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past.  Past sins become a declaration of His righteousness in us through our testimony and shows the forbearance of God, Jesus’s Father and our Father.  What grace is this...what love! Let’s declare His righteousness in us and the grace of God rests on us as we do this.  Each time grace for grace and justified freely!

Place of God’s Rest

“Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭66:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬
El Shaddai is asking this question!  Yet the Almighty God has chosen to make our bodies His resting place.  The Holy Spirit was there in the beginning and He is the Eternal Spirit.  To the Church, the Spirit of God has been given in the most powerful way.  It was expedient for Jesus to go back to heaven, for then only the Holy Spirit could come upon the Church, the Body of Christ.  We haven’t realised the power of the Holy Spirit in the Church - in this unique dispensation.  The prophets of old longed for this.  Only the Blood sacrifice of Jesus could enable the Church to be so empowered.  Let’s as the Body of Christ, release the power of the Holy Spirit.

Giver of Hope to the Hopeless

“And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭2:4-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬
The crisis of displaced migrant workers has affected us and when reading this Scripture, thought about Joseph & Mary on the way from Nazareth to Bethlehem. There were no roads like we have today so they walked or Mary sat on the donkey in an advanced stage of pregnancy, about to deliver any time.  There was no family help or someone to provide care...no roadside dhabas for food!  Asking for help in Bethlehem for the time of delivery and not finding it.  So stressful...and then having the baby in a stable!  Even going and paying tax and being counted in the census by the Romans - Joseph and Mary had it pretty tough.  Jesus identified with such a crisis from the time He came in the flesh.  Yet He brought peace and came to save.  Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.  He knows firsthand what it is to be in such a crisis.  May He bring hope to all such suffering people today even as we intercede on behalf of them.  Let’s pray that He reveals Himself to them.  He is the Only Giver of Hope - there is no other source.

Sacrifices of Thanksgiving

“Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭107:21-22‬ ‭KJV‬‬
It is only when we see the goodness of the Lord, that we enjoy His wonderful works, and our hearts are filled with thanksgiving.  We declare His works with rejoicing.  Mostly we see the works of the enemy and our hearts are filled with anxiety, worry and fear.  Then we give voice to our fears and declare with complaining!  David was a great example of voicing his problems to God and ending with the assurance that God would deliver him from all his troubles.  Let’s train ourselves to praise God for His goodness shown to us at the Cross where Jesus destroyed all the works of the enemy and cast all our cares and fears on Him because He cares for us.  As we see His goodness, and His wonderful works to us, we will use our tongue to thank Him and declare our testimonies with rejoicing.  Whatever our situation, let’s bring the sacrifices of thanksgiving to Him non-stop!

Rejoicing in Stress Situations!

“And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭16:33-34‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Paul and Silas had been soundly thrashed and put into stocks in prison by the jailor who had been put in charge of their captivity.  But now, after rejoicing & worshipping the Almighty at their weakest moment, an earthquake shook the place and God Himself set them free as the chains broke and fell from Paul & Silas!  The jailor, about to kill himself, was brought back from the brink of death, as the Gospel was given to him.  When the jailor and his family were baptised in the middle of the night, they rejoiced, believing in God.
What a moment for Paul & Silas to worship God!
What a moment to be set free from bondage in worship!
What a moment to give the Gospel to your enemy!
What a moment to baptise!
What a moment to have your enemy rejoice with you!
Only because Jesus has spoiled all principalities and powers and made an open shame of them through the Cross and defeated the devil yet again.  Calls for rejoicing, don’t you think?!  It’s always the power of the love of Jesus released through the Body of Christ, that can vanquish the enemy.  Hallelujah to the Lamb!

Mercy triumphs over Judgment

“And David reigned over all Israel; and David executed judgment and justice unto all his people.”
‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭8:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬
To reign over all Israel didn’t come easy for David.  After he was anointed, he had to face many hurdles and hindrances but the Lord preserved him through it all.  Finally when he became king, he had the anointing to execute judgment and justice over all Israel. Today, because of the Blood sacrifice of Jesus, God has anointed us to execute His judgment and His justice as the Body of Christ, over all people.  God’s judgment and justice are the habitation of His throne; mercy and truth go before Him.  Mercy triumphs over judgment.  We have been anointed by the Holy Spirit to intercede before God for mercy and decree His judgment over all the people.  Let’s make our prayer life vibrant by interceding with His judgment and justice for forgiveness towards all people and to decree His merciful blessings over all the people. Christ has anointed us to be kings and priests to bring His rule on earth.  Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Who is Jesus?

“Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭1:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Who is Jesus? He is the brightness of God’s glory; He is the express image of God’s Person; He upholds all things by the Word of His Power; He Himself has purged our sins; He is seated at the right hand of the Majesty on high.  What an incomparable introduction the writer of Hebrews has given Jesus!  We tend to forget who Jesus is sometimes.  Let’s ascribe to Jesus glory, salvation, honour, power, praise, majesty, greatness, perfection, justice, faithfulness, goodness, worship to Him.  He is worthy.

Handle a Matter Wisely

“He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬
In this digital knowledge age, so much matter comes to us, we don’t sometimes heed wisdom to know what to pass by & what to handle.  The Holy Spirit is the greatest Helper in this when we commit everything to Him.  Because of the Blood of Jesus, we have instant access to the Holy Spirit and He is the Spirit of wisdom.  Let’s root out the unbelief and commit all matters to Him every moment, daily.  After that let’s trust also in Him.  Let’s get out of the habit of picking up that matter and worrying over it.  There’s a time to handle the matter wisely by bringing it to the Lord in prayer and receiving peace about it.  There’s a time to trust in Him that the outcome is good.  To continuously pray about it is unbelief.  Let’s be happy in Him by trusting Him to bring a fruitful end to the matter.  Let’s trust in Him!

God’s Life in Us

“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭14:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬
In today’s lifestyle, meat & drink is quite an obsession.  The rate at which new eateries and restaurants have come up in our cities, is to be wondered at! The internet and YouTube is surfeiting with new recipes and TV shows on cooking have highest ratings of viewership!  As a culture, today the world is obsessed with meat and drink and to be a ‘foodie’ is a badge of honour!  But that is not so with the kingdom of God.  Those who partake of the Body & Blood of the Lord Jesus have meat & drink that brings Life, God’s Life to us, and satisfies us to the fullest.  Those who eat Jesus’s flesh & drink His Blood, dwell in Him and He in us.  Let’s not labour for the meat which perishes, but for that meat which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of man gives us.  Hallelujah!

God’s Favourite Child

“My beloved is mine, and I am his: he feedeth among the lilies.”
‭‭Song of Solomon‬ ‭2:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬
To be the beloved is an extraordinarily special status!  As Jesus came out of the waters, the Holy Spirit as a dove,  came & rested on Him and a voice was heard from heaven, saying, “This is my Beloved Son, in Whom I am well pleased!”  The Beloved is only Jesus Christ.  Because we have believed in the finished work of the Cross and are now in Christ by faith, we have been accepted in the Beloved!  The Beloved is only Jesus, the Father’s favourite Son.  If we are in Christ and Christ is in us, our Heavenly Father sees Jesus in us, His Beloved Son, and in Whom He is well pleased.  Besides, we are dead to ourselves and alive to Christ.  Our Beloved is ours and we are His!  We can boldly say, “I’m God’s favourite child”, because the Father sees Jesus in us!  Thank You, Father, that I’m crucified with Christ nevertheless I live, yet not I but Christ lives in me....therefore I boldly say, I’m Your favourite child!  Let’s believe that my Beloved is mine & I am His!

Bless & not Curse

“Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.”
‭‭James‬ ‭3:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬
The tongue is what James is talking about.  Jesus said that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.  We use our tongue to thank, praise & worship God; and with the same we criticise and condemn others.  Jesus also said that we will give an account of every idle word we have spoken.  Let’s get into the habit of blessing others, specially those with whom we don’t agree with.  Let’s use our tongue to pray for those who don’t know the great & glorious Gospel of the Lord Jesus, that even at the point of death He blessed & forgave those who reviled and cursed Him.  We may think that we can’t be like Jesus, in this matter, but Jesus definitely wants us to be like Him! Let’s thank, praise & worship God and then use our tongue to pray and bless those who don’t know the Lord Jesus so they come to know Him.

Preserved Forever in Christ

“For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37:28‬ ‭KJV‬‬
God has given us a permanent assurance of Him preserving us forever, who trust in the finished work of the Cross of Jesus.  Although David wrote it for Israel, this promise is for us who were Gentiles but now in Christ.  The very God of peace sanctifies us spirit, soul and body, and preserves us blameless till the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.  The Lord is great and greatly  to be praised! Let’s join our hearts to thank and praise Him!

The Word destroys Tradition

“Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭7:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Jesus nailed this problem two thousand years ago of putting tradition before the Word of God.  Tradition, of doing that same thing as did the forefathers down the ages without understanding or meaning, has held people and even nations captive. It is the Word of God that destroys tradition.  When this is preached to simple folk who have no hope and they understand the hope of the good news, receiving it with joy, their lives are transformed.  Thank God that we were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from our vain conversation received by tradition from our fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. Let’s break tradition’s hold on us and give the good news of Jesus to the perishing souls by sharing the Word of God.

The Prayers of the Least of These

“He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭102:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬
How gracious is the Lord Jesus Who is concerned with the prayer of the extremely poor, those who lack the means to provide for themselves. Our nation has many of the least of these.  Those of us helping them, even by giving water to them, are doing it as to Jesus.  There are some of us who are interceding to the great High Priest, and He hears & answers.  The number of citizens of this nation who have stepped out to help such  needy, is an answer to prayer.  Thank You Jesus, You love them, You shed Your Blood for them & You regard their prayer!
