The Glory of the LORD

“Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭58:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The prophet Isaiah saw  the glory of the LORD when the people fasted to hunger for YHWH.  When we truly fast, God’s favour bathes us in sunlight until we’re like the dawn bursting through a dark night; and then suddenly healing in our body, soul and spirit manifests.  We see our righteousness march out before us.  The glory of the LORD  protects us today and forever from all harm, covering our past, going before us and following after as well.  This is our promise today because we trust in the finished work of the Cross which enables Jesus to be manifest in us, in His resurrection power given freely to all who believe Him.  Thank You Jesus!

Christ Abolished Death

“but is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:”

‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭1:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Lord Jesus through the Gospel abolished death and brought life and immortality to light.  This truth is now being unveiled by the revelation of the anointed Jesus, our life-giver, who has dismantled death, obliterating all its effects on our lives, and has manifested His immortal life in us by the Gospel.  Let’s enjoy the Light of the glorious Gospel Who is Jesus Christ Himself and walk in Him as the light of the world dispelling darkness and death and bringing God’s life wherever we go.  It’s because of all that Christ did on the Cross and nothing that we can ever do except believe and receive.  Thank You for Your grace through Your Son, Father of Lights!

Trust God in Trouble

“The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.”

‭‭Nahum‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The prophet Nahum prophesies the destruction of Nineveh which had scaled the heights of power and evil.  Here he tells that the Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him.  It is impossible to trust in God when we’re in the midst of terrible situations.  Yet for us who know Christ that He finished the work of cancelling sin at the Cross, not one being left out, we look at Jesus.  He being made perfect, became the Author of eternal salvation to all that obey Him.  The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble so we trust Him.  The Lord Jesus knows those who trust Him.  Let’s trust and obey Him every time for there’s no other way!  Amen!

YHWH, our Door

“I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.”

‭‭John‬ ‭10:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Lord Jesus has explained these words so clearly.  He is the Door, the Gateway, and If any person enter in, he or she will be saved and experience life, freedom and satisfaction.  As we enter in and out, we discover that the Lord Jesus is YHWH, our Shepherd, our Friend, Who makes us lie down in green pastures.  He offers us a resting place where He lavishes His love on us and places us beside still waters to restore our soul.  What a picture of the abundance of grace where we just believe that the Cross of Jesus becomes the Door to enter in and be saved!  Glory to Jesus, Amen!

Christ’s Twofold Ministry

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭61:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Our Lord Jesus spoke this Scripture from the prophet Isaiah in a synagogue in Nazareth.  The Lord Jesus introduced His ministry to Israel of the mighty Spirit of the Lord being wrapped around Him because God has anointed Him to preach good news to the poor and to heal the wounds of the brokenhearted; to tell captives that they are free and to tell prisoners that they are free from darkness.  This was Jesus’s twofold mission to the world - to open the door of the day of grace to the world; and to proclaim the day of vengeance on sin, darkness, sickness, and eventually to the enemy nations.  As the Prophet Jesus came to declare the new season of grace; as the Priest, He came to heal; and as the King He declared peace and freedom to the captives.  Let’s believe it.  Worthy is the Lamb that was slain!

The Goodness of God

“Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭2:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul explains so well that people’s attitude sometimes takes the riches of God’s  extraordinary kindness for granted and they despise Him.  They don’t experience how kind and understanding God is to everyone.  They mistake His tolerance for acceptance. They don’t realize that all the wealth of His extravagant kindness is meant to melt their  heart and lead them into repentance.  Let’s not be in that category of people.  Let’s hasten to see and experience God’s goodness every time, especially when we are humbled to repentance.  Taste and see that the Lord is good and trust Him as He blesses you!  Drink deeply of the pleasures of our living God. Let’s experience for ourselves the joyous mercies He gives to all who turn to hide themselves in Him!  Let’s hide in the divine exchange Jesus made at the Cross - thank You Jesus for Your goodness!

Jesus Loves Your Soul

“Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: But thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: For thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭38:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Hezekiah the king of Judah was on his death bed when God healed him.  So he sang this thanksgiving psalm saying that it was for his own good that he went through this bitter experience.  For God loved his soul out of the pit of oblivion and cast all his sins behind God’s back.  How much more has Jesus’s sacrifice in the new covenant taken all our sickness and disease for those who are redeemed by His Blood and by His stripes were healed.  Sickness is illegally come into their body and the redeemed have the authority to evict it.  The new covenant of grace has given us this authority because Jesus loves our soul and has delivered it from the pit and all the sins are cast behind His back.  Get rid of sickness, all you who are redeemed by Jesus’s Blood and be free.  Thank You Jesus for loving our soul!  Hallelujah!

Definition of Love

“Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This is the powerful definition of love - that God loved us long before we loved Him. It was His love, not ours. He proved it by sending His Son to be the pleasing sacrificial offering to take away our sins.  This love manifests in God keeping no record of our wrongs as we put our trust in Him.  We are loved and we are accepted in the Beloved.  No church, no ministry, no individual can survive without faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is love.  Let Christ’s love in us define us as we love and care for one another.  Thank You Jesus that by love You came to serve us- help us by love to serve one another.  Amen!

Boasting in Christ

“but let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭9:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The people in Jeremiah’s day had grown hard hearted towards God boasting in the wrong things.  The prophet told them that those who wish to boast should boast in this alone - that they truly know me and understand that I am the Lord who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth, and that I delight in these things.  God has given us the best of heaven in His Son - Jesus.  Today our boast is in Jesus that we know Him and understand that He is Lord.  It is only through our relationship with Jesus and knowing the depth of the wonder of making us joint heirs along with Him through the Cross that we can boast of Him.  Let’s boast of His lovingkindness, judgment and righteousness towards us through the Cross!  Jesus Christ is LORD!  Hallelujah!

Forgiveness of Sins

“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This is the plan that God had from the beginning of the ages that we be now joined to Christ, and be given the treasures of redemption by Christ’s Blood—the total cancellation of our sins—all because of the super abundant riches of His grace.  What a glorious Gospel!  We are a forgiven people who believe in the redemption through Jesus’s Blood - no more condemnation, guilty conscience, mistakes or failures.  Since we are buried with Him by baptism into death, like Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also walk in newness of life - a forgiven people.  Thank You Jesus for the newness of life.  Amen!

Satisfied in Famine

“They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭37:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

David the psalmist had confidence in God that even in a time of disaster He will watch over them, and they will always have more than enough no matter what happens.  This promise today is for the righteous who have had their sins removed by the finished work of the Cross of Jesus Christ.  For God has made Christ to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Christ.  Through faith we are forever righteous and will not be ashamed in the evil times and will be satisfied in famine.  Thank You Jesus for Your protection and satisfying us in evil times!  Amen!

Joy Overflowing

“And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We have been justified and reconciled by the Blood of Jesus, by His Life.  That’s why we overflow with triumphant joy in our new relationship of living reconciled to God—all because of Jesus Christ!  Our relationship with Him is one of triumphant joy overflowing into others.  The love and joy of our Lord is the hallmark of everyone who has a relationship with Christ.  Let’s enjoy the Presence of God in our lives and carry it wherever we go!  Amen!

True Humility

“And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.”

‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭8:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God taught the true meaning of being humble - to depend on Him completely and to live by His Word.  God humbled the children of Israel in the wilderness by Himself feeding them with manna, a food previously unknown to them.  He did it to teach them that people do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every Word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.  Because we were not the children of Israel, the Word of God would not have come to us except for the shedding of the Blood of Jesus for us who were foreigners to the grace of God.  But now we are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God.  We have received the Word of God and we humble ourselves to live by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God Who is the Word of God.  Thank You Father for giving us Your Only Begotten Son, Who is the Word of God that whoever believes in the Word shall not perish but have everlasting life!  Amen!

Joy Unspeakable and Full of Glory

“Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:”

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus said blessed are those who have not seen His resurrection and yet have believed.  These blessings are that we love Christ passionately although we have not seen Him, but through believing in Him we are saturated with a joy that is ecstatic, unspeakable and indescribably sublime and immersed in glory.  This joy transcends every trouble or problem that comes our way, and makes us more dependent on the love of our Heavenly Father Who revealed Himself to us through the Lord Jesus Christ.  Even our failures make us run to Him and receive His joy, full of glory!  Let’s enjoy the Presence of God in us because heaven is full of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.  Let’s be infectious with this joy and bring heaven on earth!  Glory to God!

The Joy of Trusting Christ

“But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭5:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

David the psalmist knew by experience the joy of trusting in God, for he sang, let them all be glad, those who turn aside to hide themselves in God. May they keep shouting for joy forever! Let them be overshadowed in God’s presence as they sing and rejoice. Then every lover of His Name will burst forth with endless joy.  The hallmark of heaven is joy and laughter, and of those who belong to the Kingdom of God.  To trust God is to enjoy His Life in us.  Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, endured the Cross despising its shame, with joy because He made a way for us to come into the Kingdom of God.  Let’s be those who enjoy God’s Presence, and the pleasures of heaven, because we are in Christ and trust Him with joy.  Let’s enjoy being in Christ and carry the Presence of God with joy as we trust Him.  Amen!

Joyful House of Prayer

“Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭56:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Through the prophet Isaiah, God gave this awesome promise that He will welcome the foreigners and the outcasts into His holy mountain, which is Zion and make them joyful in His house of prayer, which is His temple.  God will accept every sacrifice and offering that they make on His altar for His house of worship will be known as a house of prayer for all people.  This is what the the Lord Jesus Christ did through His death, burial, resurrection and sending us His Holy Spirit.  For those of us who have believed in this, our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit Who is in us, Who we have of God.  We are now the house of worship and of prayer.  Let’s surrender to the Holy Spirit to pray in and through us to fulfill God’s will on earth.  This promise is for all people.  Thank You, Holy Spirit, for making us Your temple.  Amen!

Pray Everywhere

“I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.”

‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul received this revelation from God and encouraged men to pray on every occasion with hands lifted to God in worship with clean hearts, free from frustration or strife.  When we are forgiven by God much, we love God much.  This is the foundation of our prayer life, that we lift up our hands to Him in worship, any time, anywhere, and that we come to Him with clean hearts sanctified by the Blood of Jesus, without unforgiveness, grudges, doubt or double-mindedness.  But with thanksgiving, praise and worship in our hearts, we adore Him.  Let’s give Him all our worship for He alone is worthy.  Thank You, Jesus, for making it possible for us to worship our Father God in spirit and in truth.  Amen!

Listening to God

“The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭50:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Isaiah prophesied this about the Messiah and Jesus said seven times that He heard from the Father and did what the Father told Him to do.  The Lord God equips me with the anointed, skilful tongue of a teacher - to know how to speak a timely word to the weary.  Morning by morning the Lord God awakens my heart.  He opens my ears to hear His voice, to be trained to teach.  A vital part of our prayer life is to hear God and to have a listening heart.  Waiting on the Lord is to wait to listen to Him.  Let’s learn to listen to the Holy Spirit given to lead and guide us into all truth.  Because of Jesus’s Blood sacrifice, we can now hear the Lord God because we belong to God.  Whoever truly knows God listens to us. Those who refuse to listen to us do not belong to God. That is how we can know the difference between the spirit of truth and the spirit of deceit.  Let’s listen to God because He speaks!  Let’s know how to answer those in deceit because we hear the Spirit of Truth and speak the truth with love.  Thank You Father for helping us listen to You and speak what You tell us to.  Amen!

Praying for Others

“For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Lord Jesus Christ had told His disciples that men ought always to pray and to faint not.  In fact the disciples had seen the Lord Jesus do many miracles yet they asked to be taught to pray.  Paul who was given a revelation of prayer said that he prayed always with all supplication, he was instant in prayer, he prayed ceaselessly.  Here he prayed that we would receive the perfect knowledge of God’s pleasure over our lives, making us reservoirs of every kind of wisdom and spiritual understanding.  All disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ know the necessity of prayer, He being our perfect example.  We run to our Father in prayer, in our closet, in partnership with others, individually, corporately, walking, working, at all times!  Now we are brothers and sisters in God’s family because of the Blood of Jesus, and He welcomes us to come into the holiest of holies in the heavenly realm—boldly and without hesitation. For He has dedicated a new, life-giving Way for us to approach God. For just as the veil was torn in two, Jesus’ body was torn open to give us free and fresh access to him!  Let’s be bold in our prayers, asking, seeking, knocking, till we get our answers, just as He promised.  Amen!

Bless not Curse

“And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.”

‭‭Job‬ ‭42:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Job’s friends came to support him during his trials but all they did was to give him their reasons as to why he was facing such distress.  They pointed to Job his shortcomings and faults.  They thought they were supporting Job by sitting with him and berating him. Job was so distressed that he wished they wouldn’t comfort him so.  But God’s ways are higher than man’s.  The principle here is to speak blessing, not cursing, over those who trouble and persecute you.  Jesus taught that when someone curses you, bless that person in return. When others mistreat and harass you, accept it as your mission to pray for them.  When Job prayed for his friends, God gave him twice as much.  When Jesus prayed for all mankind, “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do”, God gave us the opportunity to become joint heirs with Christ simply through faith in what Jesus did on the Cross for us.  Let’s bless and not curse those that persecute the Church.  Hallelujah!

Fulfilling the Royal Law

“If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:”

‭‭James‬ ‭2:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

As disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are obedient and our calling is to fulfill the royal law of love as given to us in this Scripture: “You must love and value your neighbor as you love and value yourself”; for keeping this law is the noble way to live.  God is love and this love was revealed by Jesus being born as a human and dying on the Cross and rising again from the dead.  This is selfless love which humans cannot generate and is birthed in us when we our born again through faith in the finished work of the Cross.  To fulfill the royal law of love we are obedient to the Word of God and love with selfless love as Christ loves us.  That is the motivation of disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ to go and preach this good news, that we are loved by God, to every creature we meet, and that He removed our iniquity, transgression and sin that separated us from Him.  We celebrate the royal law of love by being obedient to our Lord Jesus Christ.  Thank You for loving us so much, Lord Jesus!  Amen!

Love covers Sin

“Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭10:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Hatred keeps old quarrels alive, but love draws a veil over every insult and finds a way to make sin disappear.  Globally we see culture changing from living peaceably to unrest rearing its ugly head.  Jesus did away with every sin known to man by the shedding of His Blood and through His love for mankind, covered all our sins.  God is love and accepting the greatest news - that Jesus died and rose again on our behalf, is the only way mankind is saved.  It’s not about climate change or gender change.  It’s not about democracy, autocracy, communism or any style of governance.  It is only about removal of sins through the Blood sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross.  This covers all our sins - accepting God’s love and forgiveness.  This is the good news that changes humanity.  Let’s walk in the love of God and be givers of this good news, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Amen!

One with God

“But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul received an awesome revelation from God that the one who joins himself to the Lord is mingled into one Spirit with Him. Because divinity became humanity, through the shed Blood of Jesus, humanity has become divinity.  Our finite minds cannot comprehend the magnitude of what God has done by making us one Spirit with Him.  This defies logic and only takes the faith of Christ for us to believe that the Godhead dwells in the redeemed of the Lord.  We are truly new creatures in Christ and joined one Spirit with the Lord.  God, Who is bigger than the universe and all that is seen and unseen, has chosen to make us one Spirit with Him.  Let’s enjoy this thought that we are in the newness of life, former things have passed away, and now all things are new when we are joined one Spirit with the Lord!  Let’s bow down and worship and adore Hiim.  Hallelujah!

The Fire of the Word

“Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭23:29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jeremiah is prophesying and telling Judah that they have listened to false prophets and become decadent, but God’s Word is like a fire that consumes all those who cannot endure the test, and like a hammer that breaks the strongest and most stubborn rock to pieces.  Jesus is the Word that became the fire from God on the Cross when He endured the harshest of tests and was hammered upon by the fire of God’s wrath, yet smashed every resistance that came His way.  The same Word, He has given us to speak and like a fire it burns up resistance and like a hammer breaks down stubbornness to pieces.  Let’s speak the Word in faith and see it accomplish God’s will and purpose on earth.  Thank You Jesus for being the powerful Word.  Amen!

The Most Powerful Blood

“But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people: The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭9:7-8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The high priest was permitted to enter into the Holiest Sanctuary of All only once a year and he could never enter without first offering sacrificial blood for both his own sins and for the sins of the people. Now the Holy Spirit uses the symbols of this pattern of worship to reveal that the perfect way of holiness had not yet been unveiled for as long as the tabernacle stood.  The risen Lord Jesus sprinkled His own Blood on the mercy seat as our atonement.  When God sees us who believe personally in the Blood sacrifice of Jesus, He sees Jesus in us.  Those of us who are born again, God doesn’t see us, He sees Jesus in us, because now we belong to Him.  The blood of bulls and goats cannot do what Jesus’s Blood has done by His atonement.  The Blood of Jesus is the most powerful in this entire universe.  Thank You Jesus that God sees You in me.  Amen!

Worship the Risen Christ

“The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭18:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

David sang this psalm when God delivered him from all his enemies and king Saul.  In the face of certain failure, David sang that the great God is the bedrock beneath his feet, his faith-fortress, his wonderful deliverer, his God, his rock of rescue where none can reach him. David says that God is the shield around him, the mighty power that saves him, and his high place.  It is amazing how the confidence with which praise and worship comes out of David’s mouth in the face of disaster.  That is because David spoke by the Holy Spirit.  When Jesus rose from the dead, the disciples were still disheartened and finding it hard to believe.  Only when they received the Holy Spirit were they emboldened.  We may have the Word with us but unless we walk in the courage, wisdom and boldness of the Holy Spirit, we will be in hiding.  When the Word is empowered by the Holy Spirit, grace is released to have confidence in Yahweh, Jesus our Rock Who delivers us from all our enemies.  Like David we too can sing and worship in the face of certain defeat, of the hope in the joy of believing the risen Christ.  Let’s be empowered by the Holy Spirit to worship our Yahweh Who is our Deliverer, the risen Christ!  Amen!

Christ Alive Forever

“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭1:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Only the Resurrected Christ can make this statement because He validated it!  He is the Living One! He was dead, but now He is alive forever and ever and He holds the keys that unlock death and the unseen world.  Because of this we have boldness through Christ, and free access as kings before the Father because of our complete confidence in Christ’s faithfulness of the finished work of the Cross.  Let’s celebrate Jesus and His Victory!  Hallelujah!

Christ Conquered Sin, Death & Hell

“For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭16:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This prophecy of king David was of the Messiah that God will not abandon Christ to the realm of death, nor will He allow His  Faithful One to experience corruption.  Jesus conquered sin, death and hell before He entered into the holy place to obtain eternal redemption for us.  Jesus Himself said that just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the huge sea creature, so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.  Let’s thank Jesus for this glorious Gospel that He conquered even hell for us, who put our faith in Him.  Let’s hail Him the King of kings and the Lord of lords!

The Power of Redemption

“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:”

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1:18-19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The power of redemption is that our lives were ransomed once and for all from the empty and futile way of life handed down from generation to generation. It was not a ransom payment of silver and gold, which eventually perishes, but the precious Blood of Christ—Who like a spotless, unblemished Lamb was sacrificed for us.  This power is available only to the redeemed, to those who know and have experienced the love of God personally shown through the precious Blood sacrifice of Jesus.  Let the redeemed of the Lord proclaim that He has redeemed us from the hand of the enemy!  Worthy is the Lamb!

New Covenant Inheritance

“Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.”

‭‭Joshua‬ ‭1:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

In the old covenant, God gave the inheritance of the land to the children of Israel that everywhere they placed the sole of their foot was given to them.    In the new covenant Jesus as our Teacher  and Lord washes our feet just as He did His first disciples’ feet.  He removed their sandals so that according to the old covenant their inheritance was no longer limited to Israel, as under the law given to Moses.  But now we, His disciples follow the example that Jesus set for us and wash one another’s feet and we do for each other what Jesus did then.  Jesus said that a servant is not superior to his Master, and an apostle is never greater than the One who sent him. So now we put into practice what Jesus did then, and we will experience a life of happiness enriched with untold blessings, our inheritance in the new covenant of grace.  Wherever we put our feet and proclaim the Gospel, we are walking in our new inheritance - the fullness of Christ and the authority that came with it.  Let’s humble ourselves and by love serve one another in the Kingdom of God.  Hallelujah!
