Future Generations Preaching the Gospel

“They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness Unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭22:31‬ ‭KJV

David is prophesying here about the Messiah and that future generations yet to be born will glorify Him. And they will all declare, “It is finished!”   When Jesus died and rose again, first only the disciples knew and believed.  When the Holy Spirit came, He empowered them with love to preach to everyone, to those who were among the elite and those who were among the outcasts, to those who are wise and educated as well as to those who are foolish and unlearned.  That’s the power of preaching the glorious Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ - to turn all hearts towards the love of the Father.  Let’s not be ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation, to every one that believes.  Let’s be carriers of Good News and future generations will continue to know Christ, it’s already been prophesied.  God’s will be done on earth, Amen!

Spirit Beings Not Human

“and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul is teaching that we are transformed as we embrace the glorious Christ-within as our new life and live in union with Him! For God has re-created us all over again in His perfect righteousness, and we now belong to Him in the realm of true holiness.  The sheer magnitude of what Christ has done on the Cross for all those who believe in the exchange He made on behalf of the world, will make us amazed at His grace.  We now are spirit beings, no longer human.  The Almighty God Who has created all that is seen and unseen, and to Whom all things belong, has chosen to dwell in us.  He became sin for us Who knew no sin, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.  Now by faith we are righteous and holy.  Thank You Jesus, for making us spirit beings, no longer human beings!  Hallelujah!

Serve the Needy

“and if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day:”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭58:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Isaiah prophesied concerning sincere fasting before God with right motives.  We are to offer ourselves in compassion to the hungry and relieve those in misery, then our dawning light will rise in the darkness and our gloom will turn into noonday splendour!  This prophecy was much before socialism or any form of governance purporting to meet the needs of the poor and miserable came into existence.  Many who have believed in the Blood sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ are committed to banish every form of oppression in our lives, churches, and society; remove scornful accusation of others and their ministries; forbid to spread malicious slander; have passion for the poor and disenfranchised; comfort those enduring suffering and tragedy.  This is how Jesus works through His Body, the Church and His light through us shines in noonday splendour.  Let’s ask the Holy Spirit to shine as Jesus shines!  Amen!

God’s Glorious Majesty

“They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, And talk of thy power; To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, And the glorious majesty of his kingdom.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭145:11-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

David sang with abandonment as he saw in the Spirit and told the world of the lavish splendor of God’s kingdom and preached about His limitless power. David demonstrated for all to see His miracles of might and revealed the glorious majesty of God’s kingdom.  After Jesus’s death, burial and resurrection, we have received the Holy Spirit Who has made us His temple - He dwells in us.  That is how Christ lives His life in us! And even though our body may be dead because of the effects of sin, His life-giving Spirit imparts life to us because we are fully accepted by God.  So we see in the Spirit and speak of the glory of His kingdom and talk about His power.  We make known His mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of His kingdom.  Let’s practice His Presence and live His life through us.  Hallelujah!

Harvesters Get Ready

“Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭9:37-38‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus turned to his disciples and said, “The harvest is huge and ripe! But there are not enough harvesters to bring it all in. As you go, plead with the Owner of the Harvest to thrust out many more reapers to harvest his grain!  Although in two thousand years the harvest has kept coming in, we live in the age where persecution of Christians has increased.  Jesus is telling the Church today, to be alert and awake to God’s timing and get ready for a huge harvest.  Ask God to cast the labourers out into the harvest field.  Let’s be sensitive to God’s timing of the huge harvest as the Gospel is preached to the ends of the earth and let’s prepare ourselves and make ourselves available to Jesus to bring many to Him through the preaching of the Gospel.  May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His suffering.  Amen!

Every Spiritual Blessing is Ours

“Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the LORD said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.”

‭‭Joshua‬ ‭13:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Many years passed, and Joshua was a very old man.  One day, YHWH spoke to him that though he had reached a ripe old age, a great deal of land remained for him to conquer.  Joshua had spied out the promised land forty five years earlier but now he was over eighty years of age.  Despite all of Joshua’s victories,  there remained more territories to conquer.  Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ’s finished work on the Cross, although are complete in Christ, but yet have more spiritual blessings to possess.  Every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm has already been lavished upon us as a love gift from our wonderful heavenly Father, the Father of our Lord Jesus—all because He sees us wrapped into Christ. This is why we celebrate Him with all our hearts!  Our part is to believe and receive every spiritual blessing in Christ today.  Thank You, Father!

Getting Prayers Answered

“Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭15:30‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul says that he pleads with his brethren, because of his union with our Lord Jesus Christ, to be partners with him in their prayers to God. Paul calls them his dear brothers and sisters in the faith, with the love they share in the Holy Spirit, and fight alongside him in prayer.  God’s passion is for us to win spiritual battles through prayer.  Let’s strive only in prayer and not against one another.  There are two foundational commandments in the new covenant which are: that we continually place our trust in the Name of God’s Son, Jesus Christ, and that we keep loving one another, just as He has commanded us.  In the Church among believers, let’s not strive against each other but keep loving one another, even as we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.  That’s when we are victorious in our prayer life in Christ.  Thank You, Jesus!

Our Children are for Signs & Wonders

“Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭8:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Isaiah prophesies, Behold - here I stand, and the children whom the Lord YHWH has given me are for signs and wonders in Israel, sent from the Lord Almighty, Commander of Angel Armies, Who is enthroned on Mount Zion.  This is for the redeemed children of the Lord Jesus.  Our children and grandchildren are dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ and by faith they are for signs and wonders as we sow the Word into them.  Understand your children’s God-given talents and see that they go into that field and they will be a sign and a wonder in their generation.  This is Jesus’s Word and it will not return empty but will accomplish according to our faith.  Let’s believe big for our children in His endless love which stretches from one eternity to the other, unbroken and unrelenting toward those who fear Him and those who bow facedown in awe before Him. His faithfulness keeps every gracious promise He has made and passes from parents, to children, to grandchildren, and beyond.  Praise be to God Most High!

Raised Up to Newness of Life

“After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.”

‭‭Hosea‬ ‭6:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Hosea prophesied about Jesus’s resurrection that after two days He will revive us and give us life and on the third day He will raise us up that we may live before Him. Although Christ died for all humanity, this is prophesied of us the redeemed, whose old identity has been co-crucified with Christ and we no longer live. Now the essence of this new life is no longer ours, for the Anointed One lives His life through us— we live in union as one! Our new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves us so much that He gave Himself for us, dispensing His life into ours.  We have been raised up as new creatures in Christ.  Old things have passed away as we live in newness of life.  Thank You Jesus for redeeming us!

The Seamless Union

“At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.”

‭‭John‬ ‭14:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus is telling His disciples after His last meal with them that soon the day will come that they will know that Jesus is living in the Father and the disciples are one with Him, for He will be living in them.  The incarnation does not divide the Trinity but celebrates the redeemed inclusion of humanity!  Picture four circles with the one fitting into the other.  The outer circle is the Father, then Jesus in the Father, then us in Jesus and the Holy Spirit in us.  This is the seamless union, the inseparable and intimate oneness.  It’s not when we come to know that Jesus is in the Father or we are in them or the Spirit of Christ is in us, it is the reality of our redeemed oneness.  Just as gold does not become gold when it is discovered but it certainly becomes currency!  Let’s believe in our position of redeemed unity with our Triune God and worship Jesus for the Blood of the Cross that made this our reality.  Thank You, Lord Jesus, for making us one with God.  Hallelujah!

From Fearful to Fearless

“And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abi-ezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites.”

‭‭Judges‬ ‭6:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Here was Gideon threshing wheat in a winepress, hiding from the ruling Midianites.  Wheat is threshed on an open elevated place where the wind could blow the chaff away.  God chose this fearful man, whose name means ‘warrior’, to become a fearless warrior.  But first God was going to do in Gideon what Gideon was doing with wheat - thresh his heart and remove the chaff of unbelief from his true identity.  From this divine encounter Gideon was empowered to face overwhelming odds and defeat the Midianites.  Through the Blood of Jesus, God sees us as warriors, clothed in His righteousness and empowered by His Holy Spirit to manifest the victory of the Cross in our lives.  Let’s not be timid and fearful, but surrender ourselves to the Holy Spirit to fulfill our God given destiny of being an overcomer and more than a conqueror.  Hallelujah!

Mighty Spiritual Weapons

“by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭6:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul is teaching about the power of God working through us, and the mighty weapons of righteousness— a sword in one hand and a shield in the other.  The Name of Jesus, the Word of God and the Blood of Jesus -these are our weapons giving us power and authority to remove the powers of darkness.  Jesus’s Blood saves, justifies, sanctifies us; it reconciles us to God; gives us overcoming power; cleanses us from all sins; releases new covenant power; and delivers us from darkness.  Let’s not allow the weapons of this world - human reasoning, praying our desires, manipulating, deception, control - to defeat ourselves.  Let’s blast through strongholds with the  spiritual and mighty weapons of righteousness God has given us.  Thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!

Leadership Lessons

“And they raised over him a great heap of stones unto this day. So the LORD turned from the fierceness of his anger. Wherefore the name of that place was called, The valley of Achor, unto this day.”

‭‭Joshua‬ ‭7:26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Joshua had been defeated at Ai until it was discovered that Achan had taken what was devoted to God.  For this Achan and his family were stoned to death as per the law.  They raised over him a huge mound of stones and that place was called the Valley of Trouble.  Afterward, God’s anger subsided against Israel. The leadership lessons Joshua learned were that the advice of others can lead you astray when his men told him that Ai was going to be no trouble at all in conquering.  That lead to Joshua being presumptuous and self-confident and to ignore sin.  It’s never good to take anything devoted to God.  Leaders must build people up and bring them into purity.  Keeping ourselves pure will restore favour and blessing to God’s people.  The only way to be pure is to be continually cleansed by the Blood of Jesus.  Let’s be good leaders and lead people to the Lord Jesus Christ.  Amen!

Grace Gifts

“Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:6-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul introduces us to God’s marvelous grace Who imparts to each one of us varying gifts. So if God has given you the grace-gift of prophecy, activate your gift by using the proportion of faith you have to prophesy. If your grace-gift is serving, then thrive in serving others well. If you have the grace-gift of teaching, then be actively teaching and training others. If you have the grace-gift of encouragement, then use it often to encourage others. If you have the grace-gift of giving to meet the needs of others, then may you prosper in your generosity without any fanfare. If you have the gift of leadership, be passionate about your leadership. And if you have the gift of showing compassion, then flourish in your cheerful display of compassion. Let the inner movement of your heart always be to love one another. Despise evil and embrace everything that is good and virtuous.  Let’s know that it was God’s love shown to us through Jesus’s Blood sacrifice that brought these grace-gifts to us.  Thank You Father for loving us through Jesus!

Overcoming the Enemies Within

“Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth passeth over before you into Jordan.”

‭‭Joshua‬ ‭3:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Joshua told the children to look at the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth as it goes before them and prepare a way before them through the Jordan to drive out the enemies to take the promised land.  Our heavenly Yeshua is telling us to be empowered by looking at His finished work of the Cross to overcome the enemies within us.  Through His Blood we demolish the love of this world and the love of money; anger and violence; human effort and reliance on ourselves; lack of vision and initiative; ignorance and unwillingness to learn; pride and arrogance; fear and anxiety.  All these stop us from becoming spiritually mature and receiving the fullness of Christ within us, in Whose image and likeness we are made.  It is only the Blood of Jesus that drives out these enemies.  Let’s look at the Cross and apply the Blood of Jesus on these strongholds within us, in our flesh and be overcomers.  Thank You for the victory of the Cross, Lord Jesus!

Demonstration of Power

“And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul is able to say regarding his preaching the Gospel message, that it was not an attempt to sway people with persuasive arguments but to prove to the listeners,  the almighty power of God’s Holy Spirit. For God intended that the hearers’ faith be not established on man’s wisdom but by trusting in His almighty power.  All those who share the glorious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ are to rely on the demonstration of the mighty Holy Spirit and His power.  The revelation of Scripture preached in the power of the Spirit is life changing.  Preachers today need to quit preaching on the news reports of the day, they may have excellency of speech and great oratorship because they depend on the wisdom of this world, but they lack the demonstration of the Spirit and the Resurrection Power of the Holy Spirit.  Preachers need to preach that God raised Jesus to life! And since God’s Spirit of Resurrection lives in us, He will also raise our dying body to life by the same Spirit that breathes life into us!  Let’s believe in the demonstration of the Holy Spirit as we preach the Gospel and see Resurrection Power at work!  Thank You Holy Spirit!

We See Light through God’s Light

“For with thee is the fountain of life: In thy light shall we see light.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭36:9‬ ‭KJV

David’s worship is amazing as he recognises how extravagant is God’s cherishing love! All mankind can find a hiding place under the shadow of His wings. All may drink of the anointing from the abundance of His house. All may drink their fill from the rivers of Eden. The fountain of life flows from Him to satisfy us. In God’s light of holiness we receive the light of revelation.  David worshipped without experiencing redemption with such devotion.  Here are we in the new covenant of grace, having all the redemption benefits through Jesus’s Blood sacrifice and we must needs worship God our Father.  God is Light and He has chosen to dwell in us so we can see through the light of His glory.  We worship and glorify You, O God Most High!

Favour with All in God’s Way

“And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”

‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:46-47‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This is about all the believers in Jesus Christ after they were empowered by the Holy Spirit. Daily they met together in the temple courts and in one another’s homes to celebrate communion. They shared meals together with joyful hearts and tender humility. They were continually filled with praises to God, enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord kept adding to their number daily those who were coming to life.  Even today, when the Holy Spirit comes to empower us we are filled with joy and humility sharing and caring for one another.  Praise and worship is our lifestyle and partaking of communion is not a meaningless once a month ritual, but a daily meaningful act of obedience.  Effortlessly people come to know Christ, without stress or tension because of the favour with people.  They see the living God through the believers joined in true unity with the passionate love for God and people.  Let’s be such believers.  Thank You Holy Spirit for empowering us!

Miracles follow the Righteous

“But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: He is their strength in the time of trouble. And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭37:39-40‬ ‭KJV‬‬

David’s ability to trust the Lord in the most distressing circumstances, was what made him exceptional so that God chose him to have the Messiah be called the Son of David.  David worshipped at such times and said the Lord will be the Savior of all who love Him. Even in their time of trouble, God will live in them as strength. Because of their faith in Him, their daily portion will be a Father’s help and deliverance from evil. This is true for all who turn to hide themselves in Him!  In the midst of failures and disasters to see and call ourselves righteous and turn to the God Who saved us and made us righteous by becoming sin for us, is what releases miracles in our lives.  For God made the only One Who did not know sin to become sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God through our union with Him.  Let’s believe that and worship Jesus, calling ourselves righteous and full of grace, highly favoured and secure in His love.  Miracles are bound to follow.  Amen!

Wellspring of Endless Life

“but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”

‭‭John‬ ‭4:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Although the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well was talking to Jesus at a political level saying that He a Jew shouldn’t ask water from Samaritans, Jesus spoke to her of the spiritual truth of the Living Water.  Jesus told her and all of us that if anyone drinks the Living Water He gives, we will never be thirsty again. For when we drink the Water He gives us, it becomes a gushing fountain of the Holy Spirit, flooding us with endless life.  Through this Jesus conveyed that He is the Gospel Who is not only for the Jews but for the non-Jews as well.  Our Father in heaven loves all of humanity, regardless of caste, colour, creed, social or wealth status.  He created us and knows us inside out!  There is nothing we can hide from Him.  Because of the gift of free will that He has given humanity, He never forces Himself on us but waits for us to choose Him out of our own free will.  That’s when the Wellspring of Life flows from us by His Holy Spirit.  Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and His awesome sacrifice on the Cross and you will have the Spring of endless Life flowing from out of you.  Thank You Jesus for the Water of Life.  Amen!

Hear and Obey

“And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.  So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.”

‭‭1 Kings‬ ‭17:4-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The prophet Elijah had such a close relationship with GOD that when He told Elijah, to get out of that area fast and to head east and hide out at the Kerith Ravine on the other side of the Jordan River; and that he could drink fresh water from the brook; and God had ordered the ravens to feed Elijah, the prophet obeyed instantly.  Those of us who have come to the place of relating to the God Who loves us, we hear Him and obey Him instantly.  Elijah foreshadowed the Lord Jesus Christ Who even though He was a wonderful Son, He learned to listen and obey through all His sufferings. And after being proven perfect in this Way, He has now become the source of eternal salvation to all those who listen to Him and obey.  The crux of the matter is whether we hear the God we believe in and do we obey Him.  Jesus told us how to hear from our Father and follow His instructions.  That’s the only Way to be successful.  Let’s hear Him and do what He says.  We only hear Him when we abide in His Word.  Let’s learn to be successful in God’s Way!  Amen!

God’s Residence Address

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”

‭‭John‬ ‭2:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Jews asked Jesus for a sign to prove Him as the Messiah even after seeing all the miracles He was doing.    Jesus replied to them of the loving plan of God for all humanity, that God so loves the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that through His death and shed Blood, all sin would be removed and God would make each person who believes in this, His dwelling place, the Temple of the living God.  That’s God’s love for human beings.  The Jews and much of today’s humanity failed to understand that Jesus was speaking of the “temple” of His Body. The disciples remembered His prophecy after Jesus rose from the dead, and believed both the Scripture and what Jesus had said.  This is our part, to believe and know that our body is the Temple of the Holy Ghost which is in us, which we have of God, and we are not our own for we are bought with a price - therefore we glorify God in our body, and in our spirit, which is God's.  Such love!  Thank You Father that You are love, we worship You!

The Standard of the Holy Spirit

“So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭59:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Isaiah saw prophetically the Lord Jesus Christ, our Redeemer.  From the west to the lands of the rising Sun, the glory and the Name of YHWH will be held in highest reverence because God broke into the human condition as a Man Who died on the Cross.  So that when the enemy comes, Christ’s Blood like a flood of righteousness, washes away the sins of those who believe in Him.  The Spirit of YHWH lifts up a standard and puts the enemy to flight.  This is our assurance, our confidence and our experience.  That is why we are sober, and vigilant, because our adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour.  Let’s take a decisive stand against the enemy and resist his every attack with strong, vigorous faith. The Spirit of the God of all loving grace, raises up a standard Who has called us to share in His eternal glory in Christ, and personally and powerfully restores us and makes us stronger than ever.  To God be all the glory!

Unbelief and Faith

“And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13:58‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It was in Jesus’s hometown of Nazareth that the people became offended and began to turn against Him. Jesus said, “There’s only one place a prophet isn’t honored—his own hometown!” And their unbelief kept Him from doing many mighty miracles in Nazareth.  A familiar attitude with God and His holiness leads to hardness of heart and unbelief.  The children of Israel had seen mighty miracles from God, the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night, daily manna, water from the rock to drink, not one being feeble or sickly among them.  Yet they could not enter the promised land because of unbelief.  An evil heart of unbelief is like a slap in the face of Jesus.  Inspite of their unbelief, He had mercy on them all.  Let’s be attached to Jesus by the faith He died to give us.  Let’s not be high minded, but fear God.  Let’s not be in ignorance and unbelief, but labour to enter into His rest by faith in the finished work of the Cross.  Thank You Jesus for the faith You have given us to believe wholeheartedly in You.  Amen!

Be Happy with God’s Vision for You

“Where there is no vision, the people perish: But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭29:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When there is no clear prophetic vision, people quickly wander astray. But when you follow the revelation of the Word, the happiness of heaven  fills your soul.  So simple!  Let’s get our vision from the Word of God, from Jesus Himself.  Let’s allow the Spirit Who is the source of our life, to direct every aspect of our lives.  Jesus’s death and resurrection gave us the newness of life as we become a new creation belonging to the family of God and part of His Kingdom.  In this new status, our vision is Jesus Himself as the Holy Spirit leads us to follow Christ and walk in the Spirit yielding to the dynamic life and power of the Holy Spirit, and abandoning  the cravings of the self-life.  Let’s thank God and receive the Jesus vision of happily walking in the Spirit.  Thank You Father!

Unity in Worship

“Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: that ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭15:5-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The apostle Paul is able to convey to the Church that God, the source of great endurance and comfort, graces the Church with unity among each other, which flows from the Church’s relationship with Jesus, the Anointed One. Then, with a unanimous rush of passion, each disciple of Christ in the Church will with one voice glorify God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Let’s worship with like minded disciples, with the unity that the Holy Spirit brings and with a passion to adore the Lord Jesus for what He did on the Cross for us.   When the Presence of God is experienced in the Church, there is supernatural unity as transformation takes place and it is noticeable in time by the fruit of the Spirit.  Let’s glorify God in unity for He alone is worthy!

The Interceding Church

“As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; So is a wicked ruler over the poor people. The prince that wanteth understanding is also a great oppressor: But he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭28:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Solomon’s God given wisdom and experience explains to us that ruthless rulers can only be compared to raging lions and roaming bears. Abusive leaders fail to employ wisdom, but leaders who despise corruption will enjoy a long and full life.  We are living in times when leadership dearth is being experienced all across the nations.  As the Body of Christ, we are required to intercede over the demonic forces over our land because of the exceeding greatness of God’s power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: and has put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the Head over all things to the Church, which is His Body, the fulness of Him that filleth all in all.  Let’s intercede with full assurance from the place of victory in the Cross of Christ.  Glory to God!

Born of God

“We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

John the beloved disciple explains so clearly of his conviction that everyone fathered by God does not make sinning a way of life, because the Son of God protects the child of God, and the Evil One cannot touch him. We know that we are God’s children and that the whole world lies under the misery and influence of the Evil One. And we know that the Son of God has made our understanding come alive so that we can know by experience the One who is true. And we are in Him Who is true, God’s Son, Jesus Christ—the true God and eternal life! So, let’s guard ourselves from worshiping anything but the Son of God Who purchased us with His Own Blood.  Amen!

Communion & Blessings

“And Boaz said unto her, At mealtime come thou hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her parched corn, and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left. And when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her not: and let fall also some of the handfuls of purpose for her, and leave them, that she may glean them, and rebuke her not.”

‭‭Ruth‬ ‭2:14-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

At mealtime, Boaz said to Ruth to come and eat with him and the others some bread and wine.  Ruth immediately sat down with the workers.  Boaz handed her some roasted grain, and she ate all she wanted until she was satisfied - she even had some left over.  This is a picture of our Lord Jesus, the heavenly Boaz, inviting us to have communion with Him.  After Ruth had returned to gather grain, Boaz instructed his workers to let Ruth glean even among the standing sheaves, to pull out from the bundles some handfuls of grain and drop them on purpose for her to gather and not to bother or disgrace her.  These ‘handful of grains dropped on purpose’ signify the many blessings that fall upon us each day as we gather truths from Scripture for our needs, and the Lord Jesus drops handfuls of revelation on purpose for us to gather an abundant supply.  He wants us to know that He provides all we need to meet the challenges of life.  Such abundance of unlimited grace!  Thank You Lord Jesus!

New Covenant, New Relationship

“And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭9:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus is the One who has enacted a new covenant with a new relationship with God so that those who accept the invitation will receive the eternal inheritance He has promised to His heirs. For He died to release us from the guilt of the violations committed under the first covenant.  How great and kind is God, not only does He remove the effects of the first covenant in us through the death of His Son, Jesus on the Cross, but He invites us to a new relationship in the new covenant and gives us an inheritance as joint heirs with His Son.  Let’s by faith walk as those who have this awesome inheritance. The love of our Father is so extravagant, it reaches higher than the heavens! His truth is so astonishing, it stretches to the skies!  Thank You Father!

Christ and His Bride

“Thou hast ravished my heart, my sister, my spouse; Thou hast ravished my heart with one of thine eyes, With one chain of thy neck.”

‭‭Song of Solomon‬ ‭4:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The most amazing song by Solomon as prophetic of the divine romance between the Lord Jesus and His Bride.  Christ tells His Bride that she reaches into His heart and with one flash of her eyes He is undone by her love and He calls her His beloved, His equal, His bride. She leaves Him breathless— He is  overcome by merely a glance from her worshiping eyes, for she has stolen His heart. He is held hostage by her love and by the graces of righteousness shining upon Him.  What a description of what happens to Jesus when He looks into the eyes of His Bride.  The Bride’s worship brings Him such an ecstasy and delight that it becomes hard to even imagine.  Yet God has placed inside of each of us the ability to ravish the heart of our King - not someday in heaven, but now, even when we feel incomplete and weak.  The divine jewels around the Bride’s neck are the beautifying graces of righteousness that the Holy Spirit gives to the redeemed Bride of Christ.  Let’s be always ready to worship Him and ravish His heart and let’s not be lukewarm about our love for our Lord Jesus.  He has purchased us with His Blood.  Let’s worship and adore Him!
