Agreeing with God

“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”

‭‭Amos‬ ‭3:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God through prophet Amos is pleading with Israel to walk in agreement with Him before disaster comes upon them.  God reminds them of His covenant with them.  Israel had gone off track and joined themselves with surrounding nations to worship other gods.  Today God has made the Blood Covenant with us through the death of His Son Jesus Christ.  May we walk in agreement with the Blood of the Everlasting Covenant - with Jesus because He is the living God, Who shed His Blood in death and rose again - He is the Only Living God.  Let’s believe in and walk in agreement with His Blood Covenant.  Hallelujah!

Agreement Prayers

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭18:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Lord Jesus revealed to us His disciples, the power of agreement when two people pray together.  The agreeing together is of coming in unity of faith believing that whatever we ask in Jesus’s Name, it shall be done.  Jesus gives us an eternal truth: If two of us agree to ask God for something in a symphony of prayer, the heavenly Father will do it for us. For wherever two or three come together in honor of Jesus’s Name, Jesus is right there with us!  Let’s believe in the Lord Jesus Christ’s Word.  Thank You Jesus for the power of us agreeing together in prayer as we believe in the finished work of the Cross!

Acknowledging Jesus

“I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.”

‭‭Hosea‬ ‭5:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The prophet Hosea prophesied against Ephraim and Judah and the disasters that were coming upon them from rejecting God.  Yet the Lord wanted for them to turn to Him and acknowledge their offence so that they would seek Him.  God desires us to acknowledge Him in all our ways and He will direct our path.  In the new covenant of grace, when the Lord Jesus has shed His own Blood, the offence is when we reject His sacrifice for each person ever born on this planet.  Whoever rejects the Son rejects the Father. Whoever embraces the Son embraces the Father also.  Let’s be those who acknowledge Christ’s Blood sacrifice on our behalf in all our ways and He will protect us from all disasters and direct our path!  Thank You Jesus!

Good Hope through Grace

“Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.”

‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭2:16-17‬ ‭KJV

When we are secure in the Lord Jesus Christ’s and our Father God’s love for us, we are able to receive His wonderful grace, giving us the eternal comfort and a beautiful hope that cannot fail.  May our hearts be encouraged and may we be inspired with His strength to always do and speak what is good and beautiful in His eyes.  Let’s be conscious of Jesus’s love for us.  Let’s be established in every good word and work with the everlasting consolation and good hope He has given us through the grace of His shed Blood on the Cross for us.  May we receive it by faith.  Amen!

Worship God in Fiery Trials

“My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭63:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

David was on the run, hiding in the wilderness, a marked man chased by king Saul.  David knew to worship even in the midst of fiery trials.  He could still worship God and say that he overflowed with praise when he came before God, for the anointing of God’s Presence satisfied him like nothing else. David found being in God’s Presence, such a rich banquet of pleasure to his soul, right in the wilderness and hiding for his life.  The Lord Jesus Christ has borne all our fiery trials and wilderness experiences on the Cross, so that through faith in His grace, we are able to worship Him at any time, in any place and in any situation.  Let’s worship Jesus for He alone is worthy of our worship.  Let’s raise a Hallelujah to Christ our Lord!

Christ’s Wisdom

“In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul got the revelation that our spiritual wealth is in Christ, like hidden treasure waiting to be discovered—Christ’s wisdom and endless riches of revelation knowledge.  Observe Jesus’s wisdom in dealing with the wily priests and scribes when they asked Him if it is proper to pay taxes to a corrupt government and He asked for a coin which they gave.  He answered them to render to Caeser what belongs to him and to God what belongs to God.  In other words, Jesus said that the coin bears the image of the Emperor Caesar, and you should give back to Caesar all that belongs to him. But you bear the image of God. So give back to God all that belongs to Him.  Such wisdom silenced the priests and scribes.  Jesus has through the Cross become to us the wisdom of God and the power of God.  Let’s learn from Him to walk in the wisdom He has so freely given us.  Thank You Jesus!

Anointing

“And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.”

‭‭Exodus‬ ‭40:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The high priest anointed the tabernacle and everything in it with anointing oil to sanctify it and make it holy.  Christ is the Anointed One and He has given us His Anointing through His Blood Sacrifice and made us the temple of the Holy Spirit.  The anointing oil of the Holy Spirit sanctifies and hallows us, and destroys every burden and yoke on us, heals us and teaches us all things.  May we value the anointing that the Lord Jesus Christ has given us and allow God the Holy Spirit to move through us to fulfill His purpose in our life.  Amen!

Fruitful Lives

“Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Lord Jesus Christ warned us of the false teachers and prophets.  He asked us to look at the obvious fruit of their lives and ministries, and then we’ll know whether they are true or false.  When we focus on the magnitude of what Jesus did on the Cross for us, we surrender ourselves to the Holy Spirit to abide in Jesus Christ, and He in us, then we bring forth much fruit: for without the Lord Jesus we can do nothing.  Let’s be fruitful by abiding in Christ, in His Word, so that we are able to bear fruit and to discern false teachings and prophecies.  Let’s by our fruitful lives show Jesus to the world!  Amen!

Magnifying Christ

“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭35:27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

David the psalmist asked his friends to shout for joy, that the  Lord is great, and He delights in the prosperity of His servant.  Because of the Cross of Calvary, Jesus has called us, who were His enemies, now His friends simply by believing in what He did for us.  He tells us now, that we are His beloved friend, and wishes above all things that we are prospering in every way and that we continually enjoy good health, just as our soul is prospering.  This is the way we magnify Jesus and He is glorified through us.  All sickness, disease, every kind of lack, fear and torment, oppression and every work of the enemy, was nailed to the Cross and He made peace through the Blood of His Cross to reconcile all things to Himself.  Let’s magnify Jesus!  Hallelujah!

A Growing Church

“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.”

‭‭Acts‬ ‭20:28‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul was leaving Ephesus where he had planted the church and this was his farewell address to the leaders of the church.  Paul reminded them to guard their hearts and be true shepherds over all the flock and feed them well.  Paul also said that it was the Holy Spirit Who  appointed them to guard and oversee the churches that belongs to Jesus, the Anointed One, which He purchased and established by His own  Blood.  This is a reminder to all church leaders and pastors to feed their congregations well with the Bread of Life.  If the church is not healthy, lively and vibrant, growing and maturing in Christ, then let the overseers heed this seriously so that the life of the risen Christ may flow among the congregation through the mighty Holy Spirit, for Christ purchased it with His own Blood.  Thank You Lord Jesus!

The Kingdom Never to be Destroyed

“I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.”

‭‭Daniel‬ ‭6:26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Darius the king had put Daniel in the lions’ den, certain that Daniel would be destroyed and had spent a restless night.  When early in the morning he found that Daniel was alive, he decreed for men and women to tremble at Daniel’s God for He is the living and steadfast God, Whose kingdom shall not be destroyed and His dominion is forever.  Today, through faith in the risen Christ, we belong to His Kingdom.   We are called to be sober and vigilant because our enemy the devil masquerades as a roaring lion seeking to devour us.  Let all the world see that the God of Daniel, is our risen Lord Jesus Christ Who shuts the mouth of lions for us because He defeated the devil on the Cross.  His Kingdom shall never be destroyed, His dominion is forever and we belong to His Kingdom through faith.  Thank You Jesus!

The Blood of Jesus

“In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Only in Jesus Christ, God’s Son, all our sins are canceled and we have the release of redemption through His very Blood.  Forgiveness of sins, past, present and future for every person who has ever been born on this planet, is only through Jesus Christ.  He alone is our Redeemer.  May every person we know, receive the forgiveness of sins through Christ.  Even for persons we don’t like!  Let’s be used to proclaim this glorious Gospel to every person we meet.  Thank You Jesus!

Resting in Christ

“Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and for the footstool of our God, and had made ready for the building:”

‭‭1 Chronicles‬ ‭28:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Although David was a man after God’s own heart, he wanted to build the house of rest for the Ark of the Covenant.  Yet God chose his son Solomon, whose name means peace, to build the temple as a resting place for the Ark.  The Son of David, Jesus is the Ark of the Covenant today and He said, “foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of Man has not where to lay His Head”.   Jesus rested when He cried, “It is finished” at the Cross.  Today the Lord Jesus rests in the heart of everyone who believes in the finished work of the Cross.  Let us rest in the finished work of the Cross and surrender ourselves to the Holy Spirit to make us His Temple.  Thank You Holy Spirit!

The Privilege of Prayer

“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

To be able to pray to God is a privilege.  Many think of prayer only in the distress mode but to pray passionately in the Spirit, and constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times, is a blessing God has given to all who believe in the finished work of the Cross.  Jesus showed us the power of prayer and His disciples then and now, know the result of prayer and supplication.  We intercede for others as well and see how God answers prayers.  May we know the power of effective prayer and see the victory of the Cross each time.  Let’s pray at all times and in the Spirit.  Thank You Jesus for teaching us to pray!  Amen.

Agapé

“The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭31:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This is the love of God towards His chosen people.  His love is never going to end, it is everlasting.  He continually draws us to Him with His loving kindness.  He loves us more than His life, by the sacrifice of His only begotten Son.  He knows our limitations to love Him back like He loves us so He sent His mighty Holy Spirit to shed abroad His love in our heart.  He made us capable to love Him and to love one another.  Should we make mistakes and sin, the Blood of His Son cleanses and sanctified us. Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God!  Thank You Father for Your so great love!

Continual Cleansing

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

If we claim that we share life with Christ, but keep walking in the realm of darkness, we’re fooling ourselves and not living the truth. But if we keep living in the pure light that surrounds Christ, we share unbroken fellowship with one another, and the Blood of Jesus, his Son, continually cleanses us from all sin.  How sad for those whose sins are not brought under the Blood, the record of these is there in all eternity.  How grateful we are for being able to walk in the light of the Word and continually receive  cleansing through the Blood of Jesus.  This is the only way to be righteous before God - keep living in fellowship of the pure light of Christ and continually receive cleansing through the Blood of Jesus.  Thank You forever Lord Jesus, for the provision of Your communion table!

High Priest in the Order of Melchizedek

“And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes;”

‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭21:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Under the law given to Moses, the high priest was forbidden to rend his clothes among other things, or he was disqualified from being the high priest.  When Jesus stood before Caiphas the high priest, Caiphas asked Him if He was the Messiah, the Son of God?  Jesus replied that Caiphas has said it and that they will see Him on the right hand of power coming in the clouds of heaven.  Caiphas rent his garments as he cried blasphemy, and disqualified himself from being the high priest, ending the Levitical priesthood and this was the start of Jesus, our High Priest in the order of Melchizedek.  We have a great High Priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, and we hold fast our profession. For we have not an High Priest  which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.  Jesus is called of God an High Priest  after the order of Melchisedec.  Let us draw near to Him by faith.  Thank You Father!

Death Destroyed

“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭2:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The ultimate fear that plagues mankind is the fear of death.  This is the basis of all other fears.  Since all humans are flesh and blood, so Jesus became human to fully identify with us. He did this, so that He could experience death and annihilate the effects of the intimidating accuser who holds against us the power of death. By embracing death Jesus sets free those who live their entire lives in bondage to the tormenting dread of death.  Jesus has set us free from the fear of death by conquering death in flesh and blood.  He did this to purchase eternal redemption for us who believe that through His Blood, we have the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace.  Let’s believe in the Blood sacrifice of Jesus Who destroyed the power of death.  Let’s believe in the Life of God in us through faith as we release it in every dead situation we encounter.  Let’s overcome the fear of death and embrace the Life of Christ in us, according to the riches of His grace.  Thank You Jesus!

The Victory of the Lord’s Table

“Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23:5‬ ‭KJV

A favourite psalm spoken by many, it is prophetic of the new covenant that David saw in the Spirit.  David tells the Lord that He becomes his delicious feast even when his enemies dare to fight. The Lord anoints him  with the fragrance of His  Holy Spirit; the Lord gives him all he can drink of the Lord, until his heart overflows.  What a vision of partaking of the Lord’s Body and Blood through the communion table where He is the Host, He is the Bread of Life, His is the Blood that we drink.  We remember His death and no enemy, no unbeliever can partake of this glorious new covenant.  It is only for those who have tasted the Lord and experienced His goodness and mercy through the remission of sins and identified with His death, burial and resurrection.  We have victory in Christ Jesus every time, Hallelujah!

The Gospel Proclaimed in Sincerity

“For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭1:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul, greeting the church in Corinth, said that he rejoiced with complete honesty and a clear conscience that God had empowered him and his team, to conduct themselves in a holy manner and with no hidden agenda. God’s marvelous grace enabled them to minister to everyone with pure motives, not in the clever wisdom of the world. Paul had to be filled with the Word and with the Holy Spirit to say this with complete confidence.  God’s invitation to us is the same, to meditate on the Word, to pray in the Spirit, to have no hidden agenda and ambitions but with pure motive of proclaiming and magnifying the Lord Jesus Christ in our hearts with a passion.  Our passion is to be eager to present ourselves before God as a perfect and mature minister, without shame, as one who correctly explains the Word of Truth.  This is our rejoicing.  Praise the Lord!

Hiding the Word of God in the Heart

“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The psalmist considers it the greatest treasure to memorise the Word of God so that he is kept from committing the treason of sin against God.  That is the power of the living Word of God when we hide it in our heart.  It is full of energy, like a two-edged sword. It will even penetrate to the very core of our being where soul and spirit, bone and marrow meet! It interprets and reveals the true thoughts and secret motives of our hearts.  The Word of God purifies us.  Let’s put the Word of God in our heart and enjoy the benefits.  Jesus, the Word of God, quickens us in the power of His Holy Spirit and wonderful transformation happens in us.  Let’s enjoy the Word of God!  Amen!

Interceding with Discernment

“If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

In the Body of Christ, if anyone observes a fellow believer habitually sinning in a way that doesn’t lead to death, our part is to keep interceding in prayer that God will give that person life. Now, there is a sin that leads to death, and we are not encouraged to pray for those who commit it.  For if one continues to wilfully persist in deliberate sin after they  have known and received the truth, there is not another sacrifice for sin to be made for them.  Wilfully rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ after having received Him in our heart, is to await a fiery judgment.  May the Holy Spirit help us to pray with discernment according to the will of our Father.  Our prayer is ever, ‘not my will, but Thy Will be done’.  Amen!

Possessing the Promises

“And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.”

‭‭Exodus‬ ‭23:25-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God blessed the Jews when He brought them out of Egypt with silver and gold and there was none feeble among them.  He gave them blessed food and water, and took sickness from the midst of them, none was barren and He fulfilled the number of their days.  All these promises became ours, the non-Jewish people, the moment we believed in Jesus and His Blood Sacrifice on the Cross.  Let’s possess all the promises in the Word because Jesus won them for us, and He is ‘Yes’ and ‘Amen’ to us.  Just as the Jews possessed the promised land, we possess all the promises in the Word by faith in the finished work of the Cross.  Thank You Jesus!

Glory Revealed in Us

“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul lived in the time of cruel Caesars who were brutal and unjust in their governance.  Yet he was convinced that any suffering the Christians  endured was less than nothing compared to the magnitude of the glory that was to be unveiled within.  We learn not to focus on the present injustice and problems of our life but rather on the sufferings of Jesus on the Cross where each and every suffering of our life is nailed to the Cross as we make our exchange there.  The glory that is to be revealed in us is beyond our mental capacity to comprehend.  Let’s believe it by faith that the whole creation is yearning to see us, God’s glorious sons and daughters revealed.  Hallelujah!

Unity in Christ

“As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭133:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When the Church dwells in unity, that’s the place where God commands His blessing.  Each individual relationship with Christ is personal to God and equally important.  It’s when we die to ourself that we can come to that place of selflessness and unity in the Body of Christ - the Church.  Mount Zion is the place where we worship Him Who died to make us His own.  There are no denominations there!  It’s worshiping together in unity as the Body of Christ that we connect with the Head.  In worshiping Christ in spirit and in truth, are we quickened with resurrection life flowing through us.  May we worship Christ in sincerity and from the heart as we bow down before Him Who gave His all for each one of us.  Thank, praise and worship You, Jesus!

Our Position of Victory in Christ

“But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:22‬ ‭KJV‬‬

For the new covenant disciple of the Lord Jesus, who knows the power of prayer, our position is that we pray from Mount Zion!  That’s the place where the Presence of God is!  That’s where we are in victory because the enemy cannot be there!  That’s where we get answers to our prayers.  This is the position of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.  The reason why the enemy has taken advantage is because of unbelief, prayerlessness and worldliness that has crept into the Church.  Let’s pray in faith and not the evil heart of unbelief.  Let’s remind our Heavenly Father of the new covenant we have with Him through the Blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ our Lord, and have a victorious prayer life.  Let’s remove every compromise with the world standards that are in enemity with God.  Let’s be the victorious Church the Lord Jesus Christ is coming for. Amen!

Defeating Enemies

“But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭49:25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Isaiah was given such wonderful visions of the future.  Here God tells His people that even if the powerful come against us-the children of God-we will be rescued.  To those who receive Christ in their hearts, to them gives He the power to become the children of God, even to them that believe on the Name of Jesus Christ.    God Himself will fight against those who fight with us and He Himself will save us and our children.  This promise is available to us who believe in the finished work of the Cross of Jesus Christ.  Let’s receive this promise and believe that when God is for us who can be against us.  He is our Father.  Thank You Father!

Redeemed

“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:”

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1:18-19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Peter puts the glorious Gospel as clearly and simply as possible.  Our lives were ransomed once and for all from the empty and futile way of life handed down from generation to generation. It was not a ransom payment of silver and gold, which eventually perishes, but the precious Blood of Christ, Who like a spotless, unblemished Lamb was sacrificed for us.  This is the payment of every human that was born and will be born on this planet.  How precious we are to Him that He should pay the price of His own Blood for us.  This glorious truth humbles us to know what a price was paid for us.  Let’s bow down and worship the Lamb of God for He alone is worthy to be worshipped.  Thank You for Your Blood Sacrifice on my behalf, Lord Jesus!
