True Riches

“The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭10:22‬ ‭KJV‬‬

How great is our God for true enrichment comes from the blessing of the Lord, and with rest and contentment we partake of it knowing that He is the source.  Although this revelation came to Solomon the wise king of Israel, the One greater than Solomon made it available to all non-Jewish people who believed in Him - Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God.  The riches with which we are made rich are not just gold and silver, that is the least of it.  These true riches are wisdom, understanding, knowledge of the Holy One, righteousness, godly counsel, unity with God Himself through Christ Jesus, fulfilling God’s will on earth as it is in heaven, the power of the Holy Spirit, the love of God and compassion for others being released through all who are in Christ.  All this Jesus won for us on the Cross, let’s receive it by faith and live in the blessings of the Lord.  Thank You Jesus!

Our Divine Encourager

“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:”

‭‭John‬ ‭15:26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus said that He will send us the Holy Spirit, our Comforter and Divine Encourager from the very Presence of God our Father. The Spirit of Truth will come to us, and speak to us about Jesus.  Anyone who testifies of the Lord Jesus Christ and witnesses to the risen Christ, is speaking by the Holy Spirit.  There are many who believe that Jesus was a good man, a prophet, a teacher, a guru and speak of Jesus in that way.  But those who believe in the living Son of God, the Resurrected Christ and exalt Him Who alone forgives sin, they speak by the Holy Spirit.  The ones who have gratitude in our hearts for what the Lord Jesus has done for us through the Cross personally, are able to speak of Him in the power of the Holy Spirit.  Let’s learn to testify of the Lord Jesus Christ as the Holy Spirit gives us utterance!  Let’s magnify the Lord Jesus as it is all about Him.  Hallelujah!

Our Hope & Strength

“The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.”

‭‭Joel‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When Israel is surrounded by enemies and is attacked, God spoke through the prophet Joel to roar out of Zion and speak out from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earth shall shake.  But God promises to be the hope and strength of His people.  In the midst of disaster, God says He is the hope that fills us with all joy and peace in believing, that we may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.  Hope is the confident expectation of God’s goodness through the finished work of the Cross.  All God’s promises have become ours who are in Christ, our Hope and our Strength.  Let’s believe Him in the midst of any disaster.  He knows to keep us safe.  Thank You Jesus!

As He Is, So Are We

“Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

By living in God, love has been brought to its full expression in us so that we may fearlessly face the day of judgment, because all that Jesus now is, so are we in this world.  This is the mind boggling revelation that John the beloved disciple received from the resurrected Lord Jesus.  Many times we read the Word with unbelief in our heart not quite believing the truths of the Word.  It is only when we meditate deeper in the Word, that we are able to receive this truth, that as He is, so are we, the resurrection life is in me! This, by believing and identifying with Jesus’s death, burial and resurrection and receiving Him in our heart, that we have the resurrected Christ in us!  How great is our God!  Hallelujah!

Preserved in Christ

“And he put garrisons in Edom; throughout all Edom put he garrisons, and all they of Edom became David's servants. And the Lord preserved David whithersoever he went.”

‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭8:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When Edom became David’s servants, it was to fulfil the prophecy which Isaac blessed Jacob with, that his brother would serve him.  So Esau/Edom became servants to Israel when David became king.  Every word of God, prophesied thousands of years before, has been fulfilled.  As has been prophesied, this earth shall pass away and there will be a new earth.  God knows to preserve His sanctified ones through all the troubles that are coming upon the earth.  We, who have believed in Jesus’s Blood sacrifice and accepted Him in our hearts, are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called.  Let’s serve Him Who preserves us in the midst of all troubles and continuously give Him the sacrifices of thanksgiving and praise.  Hallelujah!

Victorious Faith that Overcomes

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We, as children of God overcome the world, for our faith is the victorious power that triumphs over the world.  The secret of victorious faith is believing and receiving.  Jesus told us to boldly believe for whatever we ask Him for in prayer and to be convinced that we have received it and it will be ours.  This is the overcoming faith that gives us the victory - to see with the eyes of faith that it is already done, what we asked for in prayer.  Let’s see that the  finished work of the Cross is the only place where we are able to receive all that we asked for!  Let’s upgrade our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.  Let’s make overcoming faith to be victorious!  Thank You for the Victory of the Cross, Lord Jesus!

True Wisdom and Understanding

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭9:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.  The starting point for acquiring wisdom is to be consumed with awe as we worship Almighty God. To receive the revelation of the Holy One, we must come to the One Who has understanding.  True wisdom, knowledge and understand is received when we make the Divine Exchange at the Cross.  We trade our foolishness, ignorance and weakness with the wisdom and power He has freely given.  He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?  Let’s walk in awe and reverence for wisdom and understanding that He has given us.  Thank You Father!

The Lord is Gracious

“If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.”

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Peter had known and tasted that the Lord is gracious.  Inspite of Peter’s human mistakes, and going his own way, he repented and turned back to taste that the Lord is gracious.   We too, when we acknowledge our errors to the Lord Jesus, and are open and honest with Him, we taste the goodness of the Lord Jesus and experience His kindness.  The Lord Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.  Let’s not wander on our own ways, but return to Him, the only Way of coming to our Heavenly Father.  Let’s experience the Lord Jesus’s grace in acknowledging the finished work of the Cross as the only way of remittance of sin and receiving forgiveness from God Almighty. Let’s taste personally, every one of us, that the Lord is gracious.  Thank You Father!

Excelling with the Spirit of Wisdom

“There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;”

‭‭Daniel‬ ‭5:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This was the reputation of Daniel, in Babylon, since the many years Jews had been in captivity there.  Daniel had come as a child from Jerusalem here.  In the midst of hardships, he excelled, he was outstanding and recognised as one who had the Holy Spirit in him.  He had been chosen by God to be a prophet in captivity.  He did that along with his job.  God has chosen us in Christ Jesus to excel and be outstanding in the midst of hardships, in the power of the Holy Spirit.  Let everyone recognise that the Holy Spirit is in us because of the Blood Covenant Jesus made with us.  Let’s walk in the light with wisdom and understanding, wisdom that comes from the Holy Spirit.  Let’s make a difference for the Lord Jesus Christ in the nation that we live in and let everyone see that we belong to Christ.  Let the Lord Jesus Christ be exalted in us.  Thank You Jesus!

Knowledge of the Son of God

“Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It is possible to realise that God has arranged for us to attain oneness into the faith of the finished work of the Cross, until we all experience the fullness of what it means to know the Son of God, and finally we become one into a perfect man with the full dimensions of spiritual maturity and fully developed into the abundance of Christ.  The more we focus on the magnitude of what Jesus did on the Cross, the more we gain knowledge of the Son of God and mature into the unity of faith, to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.  Let’s focus on Christ and be united in Him!  Let’s grow in the knowledge of the Son of God.  Let’s lift up Christ so He draws all men to Him.  Thank You Jesus!

The Power of the Word

“Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words.”

‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭33:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Moses blessed the children of Israel just before he died, and told them how much the Lord God Almighty loved them and enabled them, every one to receive God’s Word.  This, at a time when reading and hearing the Word was not available to mankind.  Except for this people about to enter the promised land.  They were able to reach there because they heard the Word spoken to them.  This is the power of the Word of God, the more you hear, read and do it, you have success! Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.  Our minds are renewed when we dwell in the Word, from a slave mentality to being victorious.  That’s what happened to the slaves from Egypt as they became the nation of Israel!  The Lord Jesus, Who is the Word, has made Himself available to everyone.  Let’s be dwellers in the Word and do it in the power of the Holy Spirit.  Let’s receive the Word of God and be victorious.  Thank You Father for the Word!

Jesus’s Word are Spirit & Life

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

‭‭John‬ ‭6:63‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Lord Jesus has just given this teaching that the Holy Spirit is the One Who gives life, that which is of the natural realm is of no help. The words the Lord Jesus speaks to us are Spirit and life.  When we understand this and speak every promise of Scripture by faith, nothing is impossible to those who believe.  This teaching was given after many could not accept that the Lord Jesus is the Bread of Life and those who eat of His flesh and drink of His Blood dwell in Him and He in them and have eternal life and He would raise them up at the last day.  The Lord Jesus fulfilled everything He had spoken and will continue to fulfil everything He said He will do.  Let’s not be those who put little value to His Word.  Let’s believe that they are Spirit and Life to us who believe.  Thank You Holy Spirit for giving Jesus’s Life to us who believe.

Inheriting the Promises of God

“But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s the humble of heart who inherit every promise of God and enjoy abundant peace.  Not those who plot evil against the godly, sneering and jeering at them.  The meek will continue to trust in the promises of the Bible and be about our heavenly Father’s business.  The wicked will continue to take aim at the poor and helpless, ready to slaughter those who do right, seeing nothing else but their ill gotten wealth and power.  It seemed like that to the disciples who ran away when Jesus died, because they saw that when He was verbally abused, He did not return with an insult; when He suffered, He would not threaten retaliation. Jesus faithfully entrusted Himself into the hands of God, who judges righteously. But resurrection day came and the whole world changed forever.  The power of good over evil was proclaimed gloriously.  Let’s overcome evil with good like Jesus did!  Be of good cheer, Jesus overcame the world.  Thank You Jesus!

Righteousness Only in Christ

“For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It is not hard to believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the end of the law.  Because of Him, God has transferred His perfect righteousness to all who believe.  For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.  Let’s not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.  The law was given to expose sin and condemn it.  Grace is given that we may receive forgiveness and come out of the dominion of sin through the Cross of Christ.  We are no longer under condemnation as God has written His laws into our hearts by the Blood of Jesus to be righteous by His grace.  Let’s remember that sin will not conquer us, for God already has! We are not governed by law but by the reign of the grace of God.  Thank You Jesus that through You we receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness to reign in life!

Give High Praise to Jesus

“Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭18:49‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The relief one gets when saved out of horrible situations got David the psalmist to sing with gratitude.  That’s why he thanked God with high praises! He sang his song to God Most High so all among the nations would hear him.  We hear all kinds of loud chants and sounds in our land to all kinds of gods.  Let’s be like David who gave high praises to God Most High.  The Lord Jesus has given us His Life, which is everlasting, He has forgiven us and become sin for us, He has taken all our curses, poverty, lack, disease, sickness, infirmity, hopelessness and everything that was contrary to us.  He has nailed it all to the Cross.  Let’s give thanks and high praises to Him for He has done marvellous miracles for us.  He is worthy of all our thanksgiving and praise.  Thank and praise You, Lord Jesus!

Glorious Unmerited Favour

“Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,”

‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It never ceases to amaze that the Lord Jesus gave us resurrection life and drew us to Himself by His holy calling on our lives. It wasn’t because of any good we have done, but by His divine pleasure and marvellous grace that confirmed our union with the anointed Jesus, even before time began!  His purpose and His grace before the world began, wow!  Let’s surrender to the mighty Holy Spirit to fulfill His purpose in our lives, not because of our own works but because of the grace of Jesus’s finished work on the Cross on our behalf!  What unmerited favour!  Glorious Gospel and glorious grace! Hallelujah!

Let the Redeemed Say So

“Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭107:2‬ ‭KJV

The psalmist encourages the redeemed of the Lord to say, to speak, to witness.  There is so much chatter going on these days, even among the redeemed, that not much is being spoken about the Redeemer Who redeemed us from the hand of the enemy.  Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree: that the blessing of Abraham might come on those that don’t believe, through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.  What a priceless redemption!  Let’s say so, let’s tell others of this great redemption, so that they too may be redeemed from the hand of the enemy of our soul.  God is a good God and everything good in our lives is from God.  Whereas the enemy brings everything bad in our lives.  It is the goodness of God and His mercy that He redeemed us from the enemy through the Cross of Jesus and the benefits of redemption become ours through faith in the finished work of the Cross.  Let’s proclaim this and tell others of our great Redeemer.  Amen!

God’s Dwelling Place

“Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,”

‭‭Acts‬ ‭7:48‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Living God does not live in any man-made building.  No human can build anything for God to dwell in because heaven is God’s throne and the earth His footstool.  There is no temple, no church, no cathedral, no north or south pole, no building anywhere on this planet where God dwells.  God has chosen in His wisdom to dwell in the hearts of those who have recognised the Blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, on the Cross, that only through this and accepting Him in our heart, can mankind receive forgiveness of sins.  When we recognise this, the Holy Spirit of God comes to dwell in us and makes our body His temple.  We must never forget that our body is now the sacred temple of the Spirit of Holiness, who lives in us.  We don’t belong to ourselves any longer, for the gift of God, the Holy Spirit, lives inside our sanctuary. We were God’s expensive purchase, paid for with Christ’s Blood.  Let’s use our body to bring glory to God!  Hallelujah!

Speak the Word of God

“Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.”

‭‭Exodus‬ ‭4:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Although Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was mighty in words and in deeds, yet he became a stammerer in the wilderness as he took care of his father-in-law’s sheep.  He lost confidence in himself, so much so that when the Lord God asked him to go and speak to his brothers, the Hebrew slaves, he felt he couldn’t.  Even as the Lord God assured him that He will be the Word in Moses’s mouth, he couldn’t believe.  The same Lord God has assured us today that He will be the Word in our mouth and by His Holy Spirit will teach us what we should say.  Jesus is the Word in our mouth Whom we are to speak.  The Holy Spirit teaches us all things and brings all things to our remembrance whatever His Word says.  Let’s believe Him and speak Jesus to others as the Holy Spirit gives us utterance and bring people out of bondage to the god of this world.  Let’s not allow the god of this world to blind the minds of them which believe not, but speak forth the Word and let  the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, to shine upon the people of this world.  The Lord Jesus has specifically asked us to do this.  Let’s obey Him and allow Him to speak through us.  Thank You Jesus!

Maturing

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Such a great intercession by Paul for the Church, to desire that the Father of glory, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, would impart to us the riches of the Spirit of wisdom and the Spirit of revelation to know Him through our deepening intimacy with Him.  That is our Father’s desire, for us to know Him intimately.  Let’s not remain immature Christians but sincerely desire to grow in our relationship with Jesus through abiding in the Word.  Then the Holy Spirit imparts wisdom and revelation to us to know Him more.  All we have to do is spend time in His Presence.  He rewards us with wisdom and revelation when we seek Him diligently.  Let’s spend time with Him knowing Him more than yesterday!  Amen!

Total Recovery

“And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all.”

‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭30:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When the enemy stole all that David had, his people talked of stoning him to death.  But David encouraged himself in the Lord and asked the Lord’s help.  Then the Lord helped David and he went chasing after the enemy and recovered everything.  This was under the old covenant of the law.  But now the Lord Jesus Christ has obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also He is the Mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.  If David recovered all in the old covenant, how much more in the new, which is established on Jesus’s Blood.  We recover all that the enemy took through the Blood of the everlasting covenant, which makes us perfect in every good work to do God’s will, working in us that which is wellpleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to Whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

By Love Serve One Another

“For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.”

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul is telling the Church that God has called us to live a life of freedom in the Holy Spirit, and not to use this wonderful freedom as an opportunity to set up a base of operations in the natural realm. Freedom means that we become so completely free of self-indulgence that we become servants of one another, expressing love in all we do.  True serving of one another in love is to be selfless, as Jesus showed by example.  Our selfishness or deeds of the flesh are to be crucified with Christ and to allow Christ to live in and through us.  Let’s surrender ourselves to the Holy Spirit daily to allow the life of Christ to be lived in and through us.  That’s the true liberty!  It’s not raising flags and asking for your rights, but knowing our responsibility of serving one another with love.  Help us, Holy Spirit, to know the power of Christ’s love flowing in and through us.  Amen!

The Word of God Activated by the Holy Spirit

“For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭33:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The beauty of the Word of God is that it is right and all God’s works are done in truth!  For God’s Word is something to sing about! He is true to His promises, His Word can be trusted, and everything He does is reliable and right.  Because David believed it, God chose him king over his predecessor who rejected the word of the Lord.  David knew that by the Word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.  The Holy Spirit activated the Word of God.  When Jesus, the Word of God was made flesh, and dwelt among us, until the Holy Spirit activated the Word, only then did He preach the Word with authority and did miracles.  When the Holy Spirit activates us as we speak the Word of the Lord, through our mouth the Word becomes alive and does what is right and true with great power.  Let’s be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and speak the Word of God as He directs us so that the Lord fulfill His Word with mighty miracles.  For His Word is right and all His works are done in truth.  Thank You for Your Word, Lord God Almighty!

Obedience to Visions from Jesus

“And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.”

‭‭Acts‬ ‭9:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We think that only in the Bible and in the early church God spoke to people in a vision.  We think that visions stopped after the ascension of Christ.  Our God never changes, He was, He is and He forever will be.  He still speaks to His people in a vision to accomplish His purposes.  Ananias was a disciple in Damascus, some three hundred kilometres from Jerusalem.  Yet, when Paul came to Damascus soon after Jesus’s ascension, that this disciple was asked to go to Paul and give him a message from the risen Lord Jesus.  In the natural, Ananias recoiled from this, knowing Paul’s reputation of being anti-Christian.  But thank God he was obedient to the vision.  Let’s be disciples who receive visions from the risen Lord Jesus to do impossible things!  God makes the way for us to accomplish His purposes.  Let’s testify to the visions God gives us and be obedient to do it and bring glory to our living God.  Let’s be obedient to our heavenly vision from God.  Thank You for speaking to us in visions, Lord Jesus!

Christ our Vision & our Provision

“And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah–jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭22:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When Abraham called his son Isaac which means laughter, when Isaac was born, it was against all odds!  God had given a vision to Abraham that his descendants will be as the stars in the sky.  Abraham believed God and trusted Him to provide.  When Abraham took Isaac on the mountain top and was able to give Isaac up to God, he had the vision of Jesus God’s only Son, being crucified on the Cross for the sins of mankind.  On the mount of the Lord, it shall be seen - Jehovah-jireh.  Jesus Christ is Jehovah-jireh, our provision, our sufficiency!  Jesus is our vision and our provision, He is able to overwhelm us with every form of grace, so that we have more than enough of everything—every moment and in every way. He makes us overflow with abundance in every good thing we do.  When  we see Jesus on the Cross as our vision, He becomes our provision and makes us overflow with abundance.  Hallelujah!

Gifts of the Spirit

“Follow after love; yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭14:1‬ ‭ASV‬‬

When our resurrected Christ ascended into heaven He gave gifts to people.  The work of proclaiming the glorious Gospel to a world in darkness that the Lord Jesus entrusted to those who believe in Him, cannot be done without the power of the Holy Spirit.  Unless the Holy Spirit witnesses through us in power, we are not effective Gospel givers.  The Holy Spirit activates the gifts that the Lord Jesus gave, indeed they are known as the gifts of the Spirit.  Let’s operate in the gifts of the Spirit to make known Christ’s Gospel effectively.  Because we love our Lord Jesus, and we love our fellow people, let’s earnestly desire spiritual gifts and especially that we prophesy and be a good news carrier.  Let’s not be speaking bad news that produces fear, doubt and confusion.  Let’s give good news and be effective in giving the glorious Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.  That’s how people will believe and the light will dispel the darkness.  Thank You Holy Spirit for empowering us with the gifts of the Spirit!

Sanctify Christ by Believing Him

“And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.”

‭‭Numbers‬ ‭20:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Lord God had spoken to Moses and Aaron to speak to the rock which would bring out water.  Instead, Moses was so frustrated with the people that he hit the rock twice with his rod and water gushed out.  The Lord God then told Moses and Aaron that since they didn’t believe Him when He spoke to them, they would not make it to the promised land.  Many times, people hear from God but the frustrations of this world harden their hearts against the voice of God speaking to them.  The Lord God is not sanctified in the eyes of our neighbors, friends and even family, because of unbelief.  Jesus, the Son of God shed His Blood to allow the Holy Spirit to come and dwell in us.  Let’s hear the Holy Spirit and listen to the Word of God and sanctify the Lord by believing Him and doing what He says.  Let’s obey Him.  Let’s mature in our faith, grow with the strong meat that belongs to us that are of full age, even us who by reason of use have our senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Let’s sanctify the Lord God with the faith He has given us. Be glorified through us Lord Jesus!

Chosen to be Fruitful

“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”

‭‭John‬ ‭15:16‬ ‭KJV

Many are called but few are chosen.  What a privilege it is to be chosen by the Lord Jesus Christ, applicable only to the born again.  When God chooses us, He alone gives us the authority to be fruitful.  Fruit usually has a shelf life, but for fruit to remain is only something that God alone can do!  Should that be the case, whatever we ask of the Father in Jesus’s Name, He gives it!  This is mind boggling and cannot be reasoned out.  That is why faith is required to believe God for this immense responsibility He has given, to pray and intercede.  Let’s be those chosen who know to pray and are willing to intercede selflessly so that we are fruitful in our prayer life and Jesus’s Name is lifted up and the Father is glorified.  Jesus made it possible by interceding for us on the Cross and seeking forgiveness for us, and two thousand years later His prayer is still being answered.  Let’s be fruitful as the chosen of the Lord.  Thank You Jesus!

Behold the Lamb of God!

“Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have  chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭48:10‬ ‭KJV

God is telling Judah,  through the prophet Isaiah, of them being refined in the furnace of affliction.  They were stubbornly turning away from the true God, as His chosen people.  Today Jesus our Redeemer has been through the furnace of affliction for us.  At every point Christ has suffered on our behalf as the wrath of God came upon Him on the Cross.  All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth: He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He didn’t open His mouth.  As we put our faith on what Jesus suffered on our behalf, we are set free and able to behold the Lamb of God!  Let’s bring every affliction and nail it to the Cross and walk in the victory of our Redeemer.  Hallelujah!

Living the New Life

“But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.”

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6:14‬ ‭KJV

Disciples of Christ make the finished work of the Cross of Christ the point to magnify. This is the altar where we received every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus and exchanged everything this world has to keep us in bondage.  We live in the world but we are not of the world.  The natural realm doesn’t dominate our life.  Disciples of Christ are crucified with Christ - nevertheless we live; yet not we but Christ lives in us and the life which we now live in the natural realm, we live by the faith of the Son of God, Who loved us, and gave Himself for us.  In the newness of life, we are a product of the Cross of Christ.  Let our new life be empowered by the Son of God and live His Anointed Life through us.  Glory to Jesus!

God is Doing a New Thing this Year

“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Happy New Year! What expectations do you have from 2021?  Our expectations are from God - before Him there was no god formed nor shall there be after Him!  He alone does a new thing, what is impossible with man is possible only with God.  A way in the wilderness, highway in the midst of the sea, rivers in the desert - every impossible situation becomes possible by faith in the finished work of the Cross.  Every evil is turned to good through Jesus Christ! Let’s have expectations from this new year from our Almighty God, Who was, Who is and Who is to come!  Let all creation worship Him!
