“For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.”

Why do people choose Jesus Christ? When the Gospel is given, not in word only but is backed up by Holy Spirit power, and the assurance of Christ’s character being perceived by people hearing the Gospel from the person sharing Christ. Both the gifts of the Spirit and the fruit of the Spirit are operating when people receive Jesus in their heart. Let’s be disciples of Jesus who are Christ-like in character as well as releasing the power of the Holy Spirit through us. The good news for us is, that we don’t have to be perfect to do this. For when we confess our sins to Jesus in our personal relationship with Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. That’s how we keep becoming Christ-like. All the while releasing the Holy Spirit power of the Gospel. Let’s keep making disciples for Jesus! Thank You Jesus!
