“Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.”

They were enjoying themselves when suddenly some perverted and depraved men of the town surrounded the house and pounded on the door. They called to the aged owner of the house, “Bring out the man you invited into your house so that we can have sex with him.” Belial is the evil spirit of the underworld that brings perversion in mankind. It was soundly dealt with on the Cross. Paul said, “And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?”…”Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.” Those who continue to reject the mercy of God received through the exchange that Jesus made upon the Cross, will come under the judgment of God. Thanks be to God, for the Church which has the authority to speak defeat to the devil, and Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!
