“My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust.”
Isaiah 51:5 KJV
Isaiah prophesied, “My righteousness is coming closer, and My salvation has gone out. My mighty arms will govern the people. The islands will trust in Me and put their hope in the unveiling of My might.” God’s righteousness, God’s salvation and God’s mighty arms are the three pictures of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the hope for God’s mighty arm of power. No one lives to himself and no one dies to himself. Only the Gospel of Christ is our greatest hope and is the fulfillment of the age that has come! It is time for God’s Kingdom to be experienced in its fullness! Let’s turn our lives back to God and put our trust in this hope-filled Gospel where Jesus became sin for us that we might be the righteousness of God in Him. The angel told Joseph, “She will give birth to a Son, and you shall name Him Jesus (The LORD is salvation), for He will save His people from their sins.” This is the unveiling and the celebration of the hope we have that we having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we also have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we celebrate in hope of the glory of God. What a joyous fulfilment is our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!
