David was battling against strife and betrayal and he turned to the Lord for help. When we are beset by confusion and contention, our minds immediately think of solutions to get out of our problems. David ran to the Lord and spoke his heart in this psalm. We usually speak our problems to everyone else except the Lord. It brings pleasure to the Lord when we run to Him and He delivers us. Let Jesus be magnified through our speech and in our lives when we prosper in every area of our lives. Let’s magnify Jesus through our words and our life and bring pleasure to Him by prospering!
