Christ the Firstfruits

“But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:23-24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul gave this revelation that each one lives in his proper order: Christ, the Firstfruits, then those who belong to Christ in His presence.  The complete conclusion in His work of redemption is celebrated in His yielding the full harvest of His reign to God the Father, having brought to nought the law of works.  The Kingdom of God is the authority of the Christ-life in ordinary day to day life, where righteousness is based on who we are and not on who we are trying to impress.  The law of works is duty and guilt driven whereas the law of faith is love driven.  Let’s not measure ourselves with one another, competing and comparing, for then we are without understanding.  The final stage of completion comes, when Christ will bring to an end every other rulership, authority, and power, and He will hand over His kingdom to Father God.  Thank You Jesus that we belong to Your Kingdom and in You we live and move and have our being.  Amen!

The Word Accomplished

“so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Isaiah prophesied that the Word God would speak, will not return to Him unfulfilled but will perform His purpose and fulfil the mission the Word was sent out to accomplish.  God’s Word is His promise to show love, compassion and forgiveness to all who turn to Him.  Jesus is the Word and His Name declares His mission.  As Saviour of the world, He truly redeemed the image and likeness of the invisible God, by making God visible in human form.  To us living in these last days, God now speaks to us openly in the language of a Son, the appointed Heir of everything, for through Him God created the panorama of all things and all time. The Son is the dazzling radiance of God’s splendor, the exact expression of God’s true nature—His mirror image! He holds the universe together and expands it by the mighty power of his spoken Word. He accomplished for us the complete cleansing of sins, and then took His seat on the highest throne at the right hand of the majestic One.  Glory to God!

The Frequency of Heaven

“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

John the apostle gave us the frequency of heaven.  Those who are loved by God, let His love continually pour from you to one another, because God is love. Everyone who loves is fathered by God and experiences an intimate knowledge of Him.  It is love that brought Jesus down from the glories of heaven.  He never asked for anything in return, except for our heart to believe Him, and relate to Him.  In the caste culture that we live in, let’s dispel this darkness by displaying the light of God’s love.  That’s how they know we follow Christ, because we cut across barriers of caste and are willing to go in difficult conditions, just to show the love of Christ.  Those in darkness cannot understand what motivates us but they attribute it to foreign funding.  The real followers who love Jesus Christ are willing even to love their enemies and lay down their lives for Him Who loved us first.  Love is the frequency of heaven and we allow heaven to invade the earth with the power of His so great love.  Amen!

Yoked with the Burden Bearer

“As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.”

‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭1:10‬ ‭KJV

This vision that Ezekiel saw and later John the apostle saw reveal the four faces of God.  One of the faces is the ox which is a burden bearer that symbolises strength and endurance.  Through endurance obedience is obtained.  Jesus invited us when He said, “Come unto me, all that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest to your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.”  When a young ox is trained, it’s yoked with a big ox which knows it’s job of ploughing.  When the young ox wants to run free, it kicks against the goads and pricks itself, and learns not to kick or struggle.  Or if it refuses to move and just sits on the ground, the big ox drags it around whilst ploughing the field, till it learns to move with the big ox.  That’s how the young ox is trained to plough.  Let’s be yoked with our Burden Bearer and learn strength, endurance and patience from Him.  He loves us so much and desires us to be yoked to Him.  He is patient with us because love is patient.  Thank You Jesus.

Prophesies Fulfilled

“Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.”

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1:10-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Peter’s revelation was that this salvation was the focus of the prophets who prophesied of this outpouring of grace that was destined for us. They made a careful search and investigation of the meaning of their God-given prophecies as they probed into the mysteries of who would fulfil them and the time period when it would all take place. The Spirit of the Anointed One was in them and was pointing prophetically to the sufferings that Christ was destined to suffer and the glories that would be released afterward.  Christ redeemed our original value, identity and innocence - He died our death and defines the life we now live.  Christ fulfils the theme of Scripture: the sufferings of the Messiah and the subsequent glory!  Hallelujah!

Bread of God’s Presence

“And upon the table of shewbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread shall be thereon:”

‭‭Numbers‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Aaron was directed to put on the table the Bread of God’s Presence which was a prophetic picture of the Bread of Life.  Jesus said that He is the True Bread from heaven, the Bread of God that came down from heaven to give life to the world.  He is the Living Bread that when men eat shall live forever.  Whoever comes to Jesus, the Bread of Life, and eats of Him shall never hunger and whoever believes in Him shall never thirst.  Partaking of Jesus’s Body and Blood will bring Jesus’s Resurrection Life in us.  Jesus said that He is the true Bread that came out of heaven, and when we eat this Bread we will never die.  This is the Bread of God’s Presence.  Let’s believe in the co-crucifixion we have with the Lord Jesus.  We died at the Cross to rise again with Him as new creatures who live forever because we have the Bread of God’s Presence.  Glory to God!

Interceding for Rulers

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.”

‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul is encouraging all disciples of Christ to pray with gratitude to God. Also to pray for all men with all forms of prayers and requests and to intercede with intense passion, praying for every political leader and representative, so that we would live tranquil, undisturbed lives, as we worship the awe-inspiring God with pure hearts.  We live in times when nations are stockpiling their arsenals for war. Jesus had warned that we will hear of wars and revolutions on every side, with more rumors of wars to come. He told us not to panic or give in to fears, for the breaking apart of the world’s systems is destined to happen. But it won’t yet be the end; it will still be unfolding.  The Prince of Peace laid down His life so that we would understand that His Kingdom works in a completely opposite way.  We are to be thankful for the benefits of the society we live in and to pray for those who rule over us.  At Paul’s time, the known world was ruled by a cruel tyrant.  God requires us to walk with His peace to show it stronger than the confusing world system of rumourmongering and disturbances.  Let’s learn to intercede for our nation and the nations according to Jesus’s way of peace.  Amen!

Disarmed the Enemy

“And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all.”

1 Samuel‬ ‭30:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

David was running from King Saul and fighting off enemies when the Amalekites came and stole everything of his and his men including their wives and children.  David asked God if he should pursue the Amalekites and God said to do so.  David pursued and fought, defeating the Amalekites and rescued everything they had taken.  Nothing and no one was missing!  David recovered everything and everyone!  Let’s have a relationship with our Lord Jesus because He completely disarmed the enemy and restored everything for us at the Cross.  We receive it by believing.  The realm of God’s Kingdom suffers violent assault, and violent men seize it by force as a precious prize.  Let’s rise and take hold of everything that has been stolen from us, by faith in what Jesus accomplished on the Cross.  Thank You for the victory, Lord Jesus!

Spirit Beings

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul explains that the person who is living on an entirely human level rejects the revelations of God’s Spirit, for they make no sense to him. He can’t understand the revelations of the Spirit because they are only discovered by the illumination of the Spirit.  The Spirit only gives revelation to those who are born of the Spirit and are now spirit beings in whom the Holy Spirit dwells.  Let’s never forget our identity in Christ for only then can we use the sword of the Spirit effectively to dismiss the powers of darkness and receive revelation from God.  We don’t want to live in that natural level that foolishly rejects the things of God.  Let’s never forget that once we were far off but now  are made nigh to our Father only by the Blood of Christ.  This is only for those who are in Christ.  Thank You Jesus for making us spirit beings who receive the things of the Spirit of God.  Hallelujah!

The Bride & the Bridegroom

“Make haste, my beloved, And be thou like to a roe Or to a young hart Upon the mountains of spices.”

‭‭Song of Solomon‬ ‭8:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The revelation to Solomon of the Bridegroom King singing with His Bride, the Church.  He tells His Bride to arise, because She is His Beloved! He tells Her to come and be the graceful gazelle with Him. The Bride asks the Bridegroom King to be like a young stag with Her and They will dance in the high place of the sky, on the mountains of fragrant spice. Forever They shall be united as One!  The Lord Jesus Christ had prayed to the Father on the night that He was betrayed that as the Father lives fully in Christ and now He lives fully in the disciples, that they will experience perfect unity and oneness.  When Jesus died on the Cross, He made us one with Him, united together - the Bridegroom and His Bride.  Let’s love Jesus because He gave Himself for us and first loved us.  He chose us to be His Bride.  Thank You Lord Jesus!

Forgiveness & Agapé Love

“To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭2:10-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Kingdom of God is very important for us to understand.  Flowing in God’s love and forgiveness is key for us.  The devices of satan are to stop us from being in the rest of our God’s Kingdom by making us feel unholy, unrighteous and unworthy.  Thus making us feel guilty about our past.  The devil does not want us to remember Jesus’s finished work of the Cross where He destroyed every work of the devil and dealt with our sins - past, present and future to sanctify us spirit, soul and body and preserve us blameless till He comes again.  Let’s remember who we are in the Kingdom of God to be used effectively by our Lord in these last days.  Let’s not give satan any foothold to trouble us through unforgiveness and lack of love in our hearts.  Let’s forgive others and ourselves and flow in the unconditional love of God.  Amen!

Righteousness Brings God’s Life, not Death

“In the way of righteousness is life; And in the pathway thereof there is no death.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭12:28‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What a revelation from Solomon - that in the way of righteousness there is life and not death!  He Who knew no sin became sin for us that we might be the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.  Now, the way of righteousness has been opened to us by giving us God’s Life.  This truth is now being unveiled by the revelation of the anointed Jesus, our Life-giver, Who has dismantled death, obliterating all its effects on our lives, and has manifested His immortal life in us by the Gospel.  Let’s believe that for us, who have Christ in us, death has been abolished.  We have immortal life in us and there is no death.  This is the wonderful Gospel.  It is ours just by believing.  Glory to God!

Christ in us, the Hope of Glory

“and when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.”

‭‭Acts‬ ‭11:26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Barnabas was sent to Antioch by the apostles in Jerusalem to investigate Greeks, that is, non-Jews, who had become followers of Christ.  Barnabas finds Paul, whose revelation was the mystery of Christ to the nations.  For Paul preached to make God known of the riches of the glory of this mystery among the nations; which is Christ in us, the hope of glory: whom Paul preached, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that he and Barnabas may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.  No wonder then that those believers were the first to be called Christians, or Christ-like.  May the testimony of being Christ-like, be in us, which glorifies our Lord Jesus through us.  May those who don’t believe in Christ never say to us derogatorily, “they’re Christians, they can’t succeed”.  May they be so confounded because of the spirit of excellence in us as we proclaim the Gospel, and see Christ in us.  May Christ-likeness be our banner, Christ in us, the hope of glory!  Amen!

The Mind of Christ is Ours

“The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, That they are vanity.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭94:11‬ ‭KJV

David says that the Lord has fully examined every thought of man and found them all to be empty and futile. The Lord sees right through the clever reasonings of the wise and knows that it’s all a sham.  The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.  Depending on human wisdom hears no fruit.  When Christ has died to give us His mind, let’s consider the example that Jesus, the Anointed One, has set before us. Let His mindset become our motivation.  When we see the goodness of God in our everyday situations; when we don’t imagine or speak the ‘worst-case scenario’ in our day to day life, that’s when we have the mindset of Christ.  Let’s look at the Cross of Jesus and the crown of thorns He wore for us, making our divine exchange.  Let’s abandon negativity and allow the peace of God, which passes  all understanding, keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  Amen!

In Christ

“And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.”

‭‭John‬ ‭3:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus reveals a mystery to Nicodemus that no one has risen into the heavenly realm except the Son of Man who also exists in heaven.  While He was on earth ministering, Jesus was also in heaven in the spirit realm.  Being in the two realms at the same time is also the privilege given to all who have identified with Jesus’s death, burial and resurrection.    We are seated with Christ in the heavenly realm and living our earthly life to please Him.  This is what it means to be in Christ as God has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.  In the spiritual realm, heaven and earth is one.  Jesus told Nicodemus that only those who are seated in the heavenly realm will understand the spiritual truths.  Let’s walk to please Christ by the price He paid for us to be seated with Him in heavenly places, receiving revelation and enjoying fellowship with Him while on earth.  How great is our God!  Hallelujah!

Boasting in Christ!

“Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: but let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭9:23-24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jeremiah prophesied to a decadent nation what the God of Israel required of them.  God doesn’t desire man’s wisdom, might or riches, it’s foolishness to Him.  He delights in steadfast love, justice and righteousness.  There is no place for prideful boasting in God’s Presence.  Because we are in Christ Jesus, it is Christ Who is made to us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.  So if we boast, let’s boast only of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Glory to God!

The Reign of Grace & Peace

“And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭16:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God Who is the Author of our peace shall quickly and utterly trample satan, doing it with your feet.  Your victory is realised in the revelation of the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and echoed in your Amen.  We are the Body of Christ.  God desires to demonstrate His reign of peace in us by confirming satan’s defeat in our practical day to day experience.  The defeat of the accuser and his accusations, is celebrated in what the Lord Jesus Christ, the Person of Grace, communicates.  The law of faith defeated the law of works!  The wonderful favour of our Lord Jesus surrounds us!  Amen!

In God we Trust

“And when Gideon was come, behold, there was a man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the host of Midian, and came unto a tent, and smote it that it fell, and overturned it, that the tent lay along.”

‭‭Judges‬ ‭7:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Gideon was too fearful to fight with three hundred men against a hundred thirty five thousand Midianites, but God helped him to trust in Him.  God told Gideon to go near the enemy’s camp.  As soon as Gideon arrived, he heard an enemy soldier telling a friend about a dream.  He was saying, “I had a dream of this huge commotion in our camp and then a round loaf of barley bread came whirling into our camp and levelled a tent, hitting it so hard it turned upside down, and the tent collapsed on the ground.”  The barley loaf symbolised Israel’s army that invaded and conquered the Midianites.  The Body of Christ is also that one loaf rolling down Mount Zion to destroy the tents of wickedness (the kingdoms of this world).  Jesus multiplied five barley loaves and fed more than five thousand!  The whirling barley loaf is a picture of Christ in us, Who multiplies His life and power in us His followers today because of the finished work of the Cross.  Let’s believe in Him.  Thank You Jesus!

Loving One Another

“that there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭12:25-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul explains that in the Church every member would look after the others with mutual concern, and so that there will be no division in the Body. In that way, whatever happens to one member happens to all. If one suffers, everyone suffers. If one is honored, everyone rejoices.  This is the love that God wants us to flow in - to love others not to divide but to unite, so that if one suffers, everyone suffers.  With schisms, the Body cannot coordinate effectively.  But with unity, each part knows what it has to do and this results in the joy of coordinating effectively.  Let the love of God shed abroad in our heart by the Holy Spirit, help us function in unity with our God and through the Blood of Jesus, with one another!  Let’s be faithful to guard the sweet harmony of the Holy Spirit among us in the bonds of peace, being one Body and one Spirit, as we were all called into the same glorious hope of divine destiny.  Thank You Holy Spirit!

Power to Tread on the Enemy

“and I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭3:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When God speaks, His Word never returns back empty but accomplishes that which God pleases.  The Lord Jesus said that He has given us power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt us.  In every situation where the enemy troubles us let’s remember that we, the redeemed, are in Christ Who is far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.  Because Jesus defeated Satan at the Cross and dealt the final blow, now the God of peace shall bruise Satan under our feet shortly.  That’s where Satan belongs, under our feet.  The secret is to be in Christ and focus on the Cross of Jesus.  Let’s believe in the finished work of the Cross and declare the victory of the Cross every time.  Hallelujah!

Vessel of Honour

“If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.”

‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It is the desire of every believer of Christ by the Blood of Christ,  through the eternal Spirit, to be purged from dead works to serve the living God and be vessels of honour.  The Blood of Jesus makes us vessels equipped for war against the kingdom of darkness and have dominion over it; and purifies us for position as heirs in the Kingdom of God; it makes us vessels clothed with righteousness prepared for power.  We are prepared as vessels fit for the Master’s use and perfected in every good work to do His will, working in us that which is wellpleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to Whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

The Living God

“Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.”

‭‭1 Kings‬ ‭19:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Elijah had made the Baal prophets confess that the God of Israel, He is God, and then they were slain.  This so incurred the fury of Jezebel, Ahab’s wife and the chief Baal worshipper in Samaria, that she swore to kill Elijah and he ran for his life.  It was in the still small voice at mount Horeb, after the earthquake and the wind that God spoke to him.  Elijah told God that he had been zealous for God but now the task seemed overwhelming to him.  This is the point with many in the Church today being persecuted for faith in Jesus Christ.  Yet God reassured Elijah that there were yet seven thousand who had not bowed down to worship Baal.  We may find that evangelising the nations is an overwhelming task but God’s people led by the Holy Spirit are still winning souls and praying ceaselessly for the Gospel to be preached to the nations.  No human can convert another human being but God has been in the business of transforming human lives through the Blood sacrifice of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit even today. Let the persecuted Church know that they are more than conquerors through Christ.  Let’s be confident of continuously proclaiming the Gospel to win souls for Christ. Hallelujah!

Faith Imputed

“Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; but for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭4:23-24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul so clearly explains from Abraham’s faith, what faith does in all of us.  This declaration was not just spoken over Abraham, but also over us. For when we believe and embrace the One who brought our Lord Jesus back to life, perfect righteousness will be credited to our account as well.  Faith is imputed to us, producing righteousness, obedience and provision.  It is Jesus’s faith, righteousness, obedience and provision in us because we are crucified with Christ: nevertheless we live; yet not we, but Christ lives in us: and the life which we now live in the flesh we live by the faith of the Son of God, Who loved us, and gave Himself for us.  Thank You for Your faith, righteousness, obedience and provision in us, Lord Jesus.  Amen!

God takes Pleasure in Us

“They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; And thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭36:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

David was so enraptured by the Presence of God that he communicated through this psalm that all may drink of the anointing from the abundance of your house. All may drink their fill from the rivers of Eden.  What an invitation - to all!  In the new covenant, to all who give God pleasure in believing in the finished work of the Cross, He has counted us worthy to fulfil all the good pleasure of His goodness, and the work of faith with power: that the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in us, and we in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.  The invitation is to all who believe.  His grace encompasses all!  Glory to God!

Relationship with & Obedience to our Father God

“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus warned that not everyone who says to Him, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into heaven’s Kingdom. It is only those who persist in doing the will of His Heavenly Father.  It is only through relationship with our Father through Jesus alone that we are able to fulfil our destiny that has been written for us in heaven as He foreknew us and predestined us to be conformed to Jesus’s image.  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.  Our Father hears us when we talk to Him and we hear Him when He talks to us and with faith obey Him.  If we don’t, we are just pretending and there is no place for pretenders in God’s Kingdom.  Let’s be real with our Father and do what He says.  That’s why Jesus died and rose again to enable us to have a relationship with Him.  Thank You Jesus!

Shalom Released to All

“When a man's ways please the LORD, He maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When we have God’s shalom in our heart and the Lord is pleased with the decisions we’ve made, He activates grace to turn enemies into friends.  This peace only comes through faith in the finished work of the Cross.  As Jesus Himself said “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you: not as the world gives, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”  Let’s believe that Jesus made peace through the Blood of His Cross and  reconciled all things to Himself.  While we were yet enemies of God, Christ made peace on our behalf.  No enemy can resist the peace of God when we release it through us.  We carry Jesus in our heart so even our enemies cannot resist the Shalom of God through us!  Let’s walk in peace in this hate filled world and overcome evil with good.  Amen!

Honour - The Culture of Heaven

“Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul knows the society of heaven which is to be devoted to tenderly loving our fellow believers as members of one family and to outdo ourselves in respect and honor of one another. Honour is the culture of heaven for Christ’s disciples and it starts with our new life in Christ, right here on earth.  Jesus honoured even the thief who hung on the cross on Calvary, who instead of mocking Jesus, recognised that Jesus is the King of a superior Kingdom and he asked Jesus to be allowed into it.  Jesus honoured the thief immediately.  Let’s not follow the social system of this world where people are segregated by caste, race and money.  Let’s learn to honour all people, each one is loved by our Father in heaven.  Let’s bring heaven’s culture of honour on earth.  Amen!

Crowned Us with Lovingkindness & Tender Mercies

“Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭103:4‬ ‭KJV

David saw prophetically, what Jesus did on the Cross.   He says that God  rescued him from hell and saved his life. God has crowned him with love and mercy.  All these promises become ours in the new covenant because Jesus made all of God’s promises find their “yes” of fulfillment in Christ. And as His “yes” and our “amen” ascend to God, we bring Him glory!  So we who believe in the Word of God know that we’re crowned with lovingkindness and tender mercies.  That’s God’s nature and He has shed abroad His love in our hearts by the Holy Spirit.  Let’s be confident when we love others with kindness that it is God in us releasing His love through us.  Let’s wear the crown of lovingkindness and tender mercies with grace!  Amen!

Crowned with Rejoicing

“For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?”

‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭2:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The apostle Paul is so joyful to know that  disciples of Christ have matured in faith and the seed of the Word of God has borne fruit.  This crowned him with rejoicing.  Seeing mature believers in church crowns us with joy and rejoicing.  It shows that the, emotional, mental and spiritual health of such churches is strong.  When we rejoice always we’re emotionally healthy.  When we give thanks in everything, we are mentally healthy.  When we pray ceaselessly we are spiritually strong.  Let’s not allow our crown of rejoicing to be snatched from us.  Let’s see others maturing in their faith walk with the Lord Jesus Christ to be fruitful.  Jesus brought us joy, through His suffering which He endured with joy to see us become His family.  Thank You Jesus!

Anointing Oil of God

“neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the LORD.”

‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭21:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God told Moses that Aaron as the priest was not to profane the sanctuary because the crown of the anointing oil of His God was upon him. Today, Jesus’s Blood sacrifice has made our bodies the sanctuary of the Holy Spirit.  We are now appointed as a kingdom of priests to serve our God and Father.  Christ has crowned us with His anointing oil to intercede for His will to be done on earth and His Kingdom to come.  Let’s walk in the anointing of the Anointed One to fulfil His purpose.  To Him be glory and dominion throughout the eternity of eternities! Amen!

Crown of Victory

“Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.”

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Lord Jesus gave this revelation to apostle John when he was in solitary exile.  The Lord Jesus tells him that He is coming swiftly, and to cling tightly to what he has, so that no one may seize his crown of victory.  Because Jesus wore the crown of thorns, we who believe and cling tightly to Him, He has crowned us with victory against every wile of the enemy.  That’s why, while on earth, we are called daily to put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that we are protected as we fight against the evil strategies of the accuser and proclaim the victory of the Cross.  Let’s be confident that as spirit beings, we are crowned with victory.  Glory to Jesus!
