“O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.”
Psalms 95:6 KJV
To kneel before the Lord our Maker is the direct response in Scripture. Although Jesus looked an ordinary Man while on earth, when people came to Him, they knelt and asked Him...the man with a lunatic son, the lepers, people who wanted to ask Him for something, usually in crowds...they knelt before Him. Today, we find it difficult to kneel before Him...it may be bodily health, air conditioned comfort, our attitude of not needing to kneel before Him in the new covenant, or wondering what people will say or think if we did kneel. When we worship led by the Holy Spirit, we bow before Jesus, our Lord & Maker. Let’s come before Him and kneel, physically and even in our attitude. Jesus is worthy of our worship, spirit, soul and body.
