“And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.”
1 Kings 8:10-11 KJV
When the priests left the Holy Place, a cloud filled The Temple of God. The priests couldn’t carry out their priestly duties because of the cloud—the glory of God filled The Temple of God! The glory of the LORD came to Moses and the children of Israel. When Solomon had dedicated the Temple of God, the glory of the LORD came so that the priests could not stand to minister. Isaiah saw the glory of the LORD and was undone. One seraphim cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!” When Christ was born, an angel of the Lord stood before the shepherds in the field, and the glory of the LORD shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Today in the new covenant, because of the Blood Sacrifice of Jesus, we are being changed to shine with the glory of the LORD. Isaiah prophesied, “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.” But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the LORD, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. Hallelujah!
