“And thou shalt make the court of the tabernacle: for the south side southward there shall be hangings for the court of fine twined linen of an hundred cubits long for one side:”
Exodus 27:9 KJV
Our body signifies the outer court of the Tabernacle with its five senses which plays a major role in releasing God’s glory. The glory cloud rises in our spirit, moves through our soul and fills our entire body. The outer court contained the laver and the altar, both made with bronze. The inner and the most holy place contained articles made of gold. God’s priority is always spirit, soul and body - our spirit and soul is more precious than our body. The bronze laver in the outer court was for washing hands, feet and the sacrifices to be burned and tells us that we must constantly wash ourselves by the water of the Word of God to be a purified. The altar was to sacrifice by fire and all that touched the altar was made holy. In Christ, we present our bodies as a living sacrifice. Let’s allow God’s glory to flow through us, letting the world see His glory through us. We are a new creation in Christ and the only hope for a lost world. Thank You Lord!
