Jesus has just revealed that He is the Good Shepherd Who lays down His Life for His sheep. No one takes Jesus’s Life from Him. He knows He is the I AM when He lays down His Life and takes it up again. This is the conclusion of His Father’s prophetic purpose, which is what Jesus is all about. Jesus lived and communicated from His awareness of the prophetic significance of His Life’s mission in laying down His Life and in co-raising fallen mankind together with Him in His resurrection!
