Fellowship with Christ Passionately

 “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul teaches, “God is forever faithful and can be trusted to do this in you, for He has invited you to co-share the life of His Son, Jesus, the Anointed One, our King!”  This is the co-participation, communion and fellowship with the Son.  All believers who have identified with Christ’s death, burial and resurrection, are called to share in the sonship of Jesus.  By God’s grace, we will share in the Son’s standing and position before the Father.  We are not only blameless, but made holy by the co-sharing of the life of God’s Son.  We are surnamed by God - this is our true lineage.  He is faithful and fully persuaded about our co-participation in the fellowship of sonship.  We are included in everything that our Lord Jesus Christ and the Father enjoy.  God’s faithfulness is the basis of this union.  Let’s trust in God’s faithfulness and co-participate with God’s Son passionately.  Amen!
