“and to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.”
Deuteronomy 26:19 KJV
This is what the Lord God Almighty willed for His chosen people. Life in Christ is far above all people in praise, fame and honour. Under the old covenant, God promised to set His people high above all nations of the earth, if they obey every single detail of His commandments. In Christ in the new covenant, we are already set above all the people and the nations and as we walk in these privileges, we see the full manifestation of this high position. We will be highly praised above all others because we are the crown of His creation, His workmanship. We are above all in name and fame because our God is interested in making our name great and famous as the Name above all names dwells in us and God has highly exalted Him. We are above all in honour as we walk in the light of the new creation revelation. Then God makes us honourable vessels for Christ’s glory. The believers were wonderfully united as they met regularly in the temple courts in the area known as Solomon’s Porch. No one dared harm them, for everyone held them in high regard. Amen!
