Faith not Fear

“And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there. For the LORD had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us. Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life.”

‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭7‬:‭5‬-‭7‬ ‭KJV‬

So after the sun went down they got up and went to the camp of Aram. When they got to the edge of the camp, surprise! Not a man in the camp! The Master had made the army of Aram hear the sound of horses and a mighty army on the march. They told one another, “The king of Israel hired the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Egypt to attack us!” Panicked, they ran for their lives through the darkness, abandoning tents, horses, donkeys—the whole camp just as it was—running for dear life.  Elisha the prophet had prophesied the defeat of the Syrian army.  The entire army fled from fear.  Jesus said “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”  Let’s not limit God with our fear levels, let’s believe God for the impossible with faith in Christ’s Blood. Amen‭‭!
