“Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.”
Numbers 10:2 KJV
The God of the Bible is the greatest Administrator Who organises our life in Christ in the most orderly, efficient, disciplined and decent manner. There is no room for confusion. The two silver trumpets were blown to gather the children of Israel together and only one was blown to gather the leaders. Our God still calls His people together in Christ, for community, to live, celebrate, worship and march together, in unity and fellowship. Christ came to bring the Jew and the Gentile together in unity in His Body. In Christ, the trumpet call is that we march together in fellowship with one another, preaching the Gospel and winning souls into God’s Kingdom. In Christ, the trumpet call is for victory because Jesus finished the work at the Cross. In Christ, the trumpet call is for praise and worship as we walk in triumph diffusing the fragrance of the knowledge of Christ wherever we go and live to the praise of the glory of His grace. Let’s blow the trumpet in Zion today! Hallelujah!
