“Speak unto Aaron, and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick.”

The entire lampstand and its detail was God’s idea as He gave clear commands to Moses and Aaron about the setting up of the seven lamps. Our Father God lives in unapproachable light, full of glory and clothed in light. His first creation was light. Jesus, the Light of the world, lightened your lamp and put you above the prince of darkness and all of his powers. As the new creation in Christ, you have enough light to lighten the entire universe. You truly are the light of the world. The darkness around you, no matter how dense, can never dim your light even a bit! The Holy Spirit is the oil of your lamp and the Spirit of glory, causing you to shine continuously. When you are full of Him, you shine with divine light making your body bright and glorious. You are God’s lampstand in charge of your light, the only hope for those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death. Tend your life through prayer and praise; design your life according to God’s Word; fill your life with the Holy Spirit and shine! Amen!
