Resting in Christ

“And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness.”

‭‭Numbers‬ ‭14‬:‭33‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Only because of unbelief, the Israelites couldn’t enter their rest in Canaan.  For those who have life in Christ, we have already entered our rest because of faith in Christ.  God was patiently bearing the constant complaints of the Israelites, till He no longer tolerated their cry of unbelief and rebellion.  “How long will these people reject Me?”  Unbelief is so severe, it wiped out the whole nation.  It was Moses’ intercession that saved the Israelites.  For us, in Christ, we thank God for our High Priest Who ever lives to intercede for us.  That’s how we get our miracles.  Let’s agree with His intercession for us by speaking His Word.  Our faith or unbelief affects our children and succeeding generations.  Let’s rise up to our faith legacy.  Doubt delays our destiny.  For we which have believed do enter into rest, as God said, “As I have sworn in My wrath, If they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.”  Let’s be at rest in the bosom of our Saviour.  Amen!
